The challenge is easy, take a picture of your avatar as it is right now and compare it with the first pic you ever took of your avatar.
Admitedly the first picture I took of my avatar is long gone but after a little bit of digging around in the bottomless pit that is my inventory I found one that was taken probably about 2 months after I joined SL. It's as close to a first picture a I'm ever getting!
I haven't edited these pictures at all so you can see the difference isn't due to processing. But here I am in all my processed glory! :P
I don't really poke at them that much.

I have no idea other than I think the hair was from Deviant Kitties (which is now Ploom) and my first is probably from Snatch.
