The Epiphany - October 2015 - Part 1

After a really successful first round The Epiphany are back for their second and it's even bigger and even better than it was first time.

Some of my favourite stores are there and so I did do some excited little dances at some of things I saw. I'll be breaking all the goodies down into a few posts so here we go with the first!

Addams have filled their gacha with the Marion Hero Costume.

It's 100L per pull and the Black versions are the rares. Every other colour is a common so you can mix and match or go for a full set which would be the Hero Custome, Waders Custome, Gloves Custome and Hero Mask. Make sure you're playing for the size you want as they are split into different fitmesh sizes and standard sizes. You can also find a special edition Hero Mask as the Addams exclusive for 25 points that you can get by redeeming your unwanted gacha wins.

The adorable little Bottle Necklace you can get by throwing 50L at the Yummy gacha. This one is the Jar/Key version but there are eight others you can win.

Jian have filled their gacha with Ween Bat's. What's a Ween Bat you ask? Well it's an adorable little baseball bat with a bow that you can use to deliver you enemies swift justice... I mean it's cute and you need one. They are 50L a pull and the rares are studded or with cute little bat wings. However if you go for the Exclusive by saving up your pulls then you can get the Spiked version.

The Cinnabun hair is from Besom. You can snag yourself one of these for 50L per pull and this colour can be found in the Colours Pack which is #22. There are other styles and colours in the gacha too so play until you get something you love, swap with your friends or save up for exclusives.

Bueno have released the Stash House gacha for this round and everything is a common apart from the skybox, which is the only rare. You can fill your Stash House with jewels, cash and drugs by collecting all the commons. It's 50L a pull so go nuts!

Reign has gone all American Horror Story on us with their Coven gacha.

This gacha is packed full of goodies that include dresses, shoes, jewellery, bags, glasses and even hair! The great Coven Booties are one of the rares, the hair being the other two, in this one and it's 75L a pull. Each piece of clothing comes with a hud that lets you change it to the size you want too so you don't have to worry about playing multiple sizes if you are someone who likes to switch often.

May's Soul and Random Matter both released some fantastic decor pieces to create a seriously creepy room. The Dark Magic gacha from May's Soul is 50L a pull and the Spirit Set gacha from Random Matter is 75L a pull. I found both of these sets mixed and matched so well. However I appear to make a very confused looking witch.

Fantasy Gacha Carnival - November 2014

Both the Fantasy Gacha Carnival and We Love Role Play are open until the 30th of November. That gives you some time to get your butt down there to have some fun playing the gachas and to grab the fantasy goodies you want for your roleplay / cosplay needs.

Haste has got some great body armour at We Love Role Play

Gorgeous or what. I love the big spikes on the Spiked Harness and you can use the hud to change the colour of the spikes themselves. The leather harness stays the colour of the pack you choose to buy so please make sure you're picking the colour you want. Comes in male and female sizes so there's something for you guys too!

At the Fantasy Gacha Carnival Haste have another release.

The Nsia Harness comes in several pieces that range from commons to ultrarares. The top is a rare piece, the bottom of the harness is an ultra rare and the arm and leg ropes are commons. You can mix and match the colours or try and collect a set. It's a lovely harness set and well worth a few gatcha plays.

Alchemy always have a lovely gatcha offering and I was over the moon to land a rare outfit pack on my first play. I admit, I did a little chair dance.

You get all the pieces in the rare Air Pack of the The Magi gatcha. I hope you are as lucky as I was because this is a lovely set. It's really detailed and and fits like a dream. Unfortunately the style of the armour didn't suit anything larger than a standard size medium because large and extra large are just SO different from the extra small to medium. As someone who's watched a friend make standard sizes the frustration is real when trying to fit anything larger than a medium. The best bet is to try a demo to make sure it's going to fit you first or mod your shape to fit a standard sized medium.

The hair is from the Ploom Mystic V2 gacha. Again I lucked out with a rare and I decided to go with this lovely blond to white fade colour. The hud lets you change the colour of the headband and you also get a pack of curly hairbases to match all the colours.

The adorable little Eagle, I've called Jeff, and the Staff are from the Rack Poses Priestess gacha. You get both the props and the both with each pull which is great. I love Jeff, he's a feathery wonder.

If you like long dresses then there are a couple of great ones you can grab at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.

The Arcana Dress from May's Soul is a great buy. All the colours are fantastic and are commons so you're guaranteed to get one. The rares include a special dress colour hud and an optional set of sleeves. It's a great dress and I love that the rares are not a much needed part of the outfit.

The hair is the Ploom Mystic V1 gatcha hair. The V1 has a fringe (or as you Americans on the other side of the pond call it - bangs) but has the same style at the back. You can get one, or both.

The swords and the pose are from the Rack Poses  Paladin gacha. The poses are recommended for male avatars but of course you can use them for women too!

Luas have the Orianna Dress in their gacha and all are commons! yay!

The rare is armour that matches the dress (not shown) but go and definitely grab yourself a dress while the carnival is still open!

The Ranger hair you can snag from the Little Bones gacha.

Tales Of Fantasy - August 2014

I'm terribly low on spoons today but I wanted to share Tales Of Fantasy with you because I went and grabbed some lovely bits.

So let's not dilly dally and get straight into the goodies.

Haste have released a great outfit called Strapping Warrior.

You have the option to wear this with or without the straps around the body and of course you can change the colours on them and the metal pieces too. The colour you pick is the base colour of the dress and not the straps!

The Aquiles Necklace & Bracelets you can grab from the Sweet Lies gatcha. I ended up with common 2 and I really liked the colours but fingers crossed you get the ones you want!

If you planned on going to war then you're definitely going to need to pay a visit to the May's Soul Gatcha

Born To War comes with the bra top and panties style bottoms. There are leather and metal versions in several different colours and the blue leather version found it's way into my inventory. It's mod so you can adjust it to your size.

I teamed it with the Valkyrie armour I won from the Enigma gatcha. This is the sand version but there are lots of others available.

Luas have been making some great mix and match sets recently.

Two different gatchas are at Tales Of Fantasy. One with the Iballa Top & Skirt and the other with the Iballa Armour. You wear whatever colours you manage to grab or if you are like me keep your fingers crossed until you get two that match!

Blacklace have not one, but two, great dresses for you. Each comes with it's own weapon and both are sexy as hell.

Kitten d'Lish comes in Black Leather or Black Leather & Lace. Both come with kitty ears and horse whips for you to whip people into shape! Nobody is going to mess with Miss Kitty d'Lish

Sultry in Black leather comes with a gun holster so you make people stick 'em up! Or if you planned on robbing a bank you'd probably be the sexiest criminal ever.

Sultry in Cherry Blossom comes with a Katana. You can slice 'em and dice 'em if they refuse to obey your commands. Very Kill Bill!

Tales Of Fantasy And More

Tales Of Fantasy is dedicated to Gods this round so if you've ever considered yourself worthy of being a bit of a deity then this event should float your boat.

Or if you're a bit of a gatcha fiend... like me. Maybe I'm a Gatcha Deity? Although if that was true I'm pretty sure I'd win a few more rares.

The event closes on the 30th so you still have a good few days left to go and raid those gatchas.

I love making fantasy themed pictures because it's a delightful change from the usual pictures I do. When I saw the Medusa headpiece from May's Soul I was practically praying that I'd get the green.

I guess the gatcha gods listened!

I was practically jumping up and down. I teamed it with the dress from Luas. I was lucky enough to get the Ultrarare fatpack of dresses but the commons are the dresses in their solo colours. I was a little bit sad that I never managed to get the matching armour that was a rare, but the dress looks just as good without it.

The hair is Sanna from Wasabi Pills. I was just thrifty and tinted it green because I couldn't find any green hair in a style and colour I wanted. It worked perfectly for the pink. I always grab the Crystal Pink in the Fifty Linden Fridays because it does tint so well for pics like this.

The dripping eye make up was a gatcha snag from Bella Elephante at Thrift Shop. Another gatcha where I was hoping for the green and BAM! I layered it with a Delusional Eyeshadow from Izzie's to add a bit of eyeliner in there.

Ama made a great Soul Eater make up not too long back and I was sat there trying to come up with and excuse to use it. The I realised that I didn't need an excuse and I could just make up an outfit with goodies I grabbed from Tales Of Fantasy

The Jewels set is another release from Luas. I really liked the bronze metal with the dark make up and the amazing Hope hair from Truth. I went for the darkest black in the Black and Whites pack and it also perfectly covered my nipply bits! lol

The pose is also available at Tales Of Fantasy as is from An Lar Poses. This is the Wrath Of The Gods set and I went with pose three. The glowing soul I added later, so you don't get that with it. I am a soul eater after all so I needed a soul to nom on!

Back to something less evil and bit more Godly are the Deity dresses from Haste

This dress has ALL the options for wearing it. Short and long skirt lengths. No skirt, no straps, no body cage... you can hide and show whatever parts you like.

The headdress I'm wearing is from Distorted Dreams and is the Goddess Crown. It's a lovely piece that fit perfectly with no editing. I will always be pleased about that.

The pose isn't from Tales Of Fantasy but is a release from The Rack for the Countdown Room. Unfortunately The Countdown Room is closed for this round but hopefully the pose will be out at the main store soon!

Last up is a great outfit from Kaithleen's that you can grab from Genre (open until July 11th)

The Arabian outfit comes in two pieces so you can mix and match from a choice of colours. I really liked the white in this one and I loved it with the Africain set from je suis..., especially the belly chain.

The face chains I grabbed from May's Soul at the The Fantasy Room, which is still open until the end of the month.

However while you are Tales Of Fantasy don't forget to have a go at the Rack Poses gatcha to get this great pose that comes with the bow and the quiver. The props with the Rack Poses are always amazing.

Fun With Fantasy

When it comes to things like cosplay and fancy dress I might not be as inventive as some, but I still like to have a go.

I like to make something a bit different from anything I'd usually wear and make a character.

So I tend to really like events like Fantasy Gacha Carnival and The Fantasy Room because I can get lots of little bits at really cheap prices and mix and match to make something interesting.

The Huntress

The Huntress Top and Huntress Belt are from the Alchemy gatcha at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival. I was lucky enough to nab a matching bronze set, but you can mix and match. The bracelets are also from that gacha and those are in gold.

The veil is from Sweet Lies and is the Aradiel Tiara & Veil (rare) from their gacha at The Fantasy Room.

The sword came with the pose from NanTra's gacha at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival. This is Hear Me Roar # 3.

I think she looks like a pretty badass hunter to me.

The Tribe

I seriously wouldn't mess with these two. I grabbed the Chain Harness and Chain Bracer from the Haste gacha at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival. We ended up with a mix of random colours but they all look good together so unless you are a total OCD, must have everything match, kind of person then it really won't make much difference.

The hair on Cryssie (left) is from Spellbound and they have a gacha for the hair and a separate one for the headpiece. I got a unicorn headpiece. I'm a unicorn!

The hair on Cat (right) is from Little Bones. They also have a separate gacha for their circlet that fits with the hair. Both of these are from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.

The bows come with the poses from The Rack. The set is called She's A Badass Bitch and I ended with the pose 2 and 3. I put them together to make a couple/friend pose.

The Protector

Again I lucked out with the Teriotrope gacha and managed to grab the Upper Forest Armor and Lower Forest Armor in green one after the other. Perfect Luck!

The Day Break Harness is an addition from Things. Both the harness and the armour are both at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival along with the Peqe Cape.

The Emery Horns and Face Strap are from May's Soul at The Fantasy Room. I really liked these, I've never seen a horn with a face strap before. Super cute.

The spear and shield come with The Warriors pose from The Rack. You'll have to head back to The Fantasy Gacha Carnival for that one. This is pose number 5.

The Mischievous

Something a bit different from the others is this little imp. I grabbed the dress from Les Encantades Aina Dress gacha at The Fantasy Room.

The adorable butterflies are the Victoria Headband - Butterflies 9. You can find them in the Persefona Gacha, also at The Fantasy Room. I teamed it with the new Nova hair from Truth and it fit perfectly. I couldn't have planned it!

The Eleri Antlers are from Random Matter. Probably not very impish but they looked so cute with the rest of the outfit that I had to leave them on.
