Sad November

Sad November is still open until the 22nd so you have some time left to nip around the sim and grab some of the lovely things on offer.

What I liked was that if a creator had some unisex or men's items they got to put out a little sign that said so outside their store. Great for guys who love to shop and sometimes get a little bit left out by events.

The rain on the sim is an incredibly pretty feature but I found lagged me out a lot so before you head over there I'd suggest you remove all unnecessary attachments and huds, get your noob duck waddle on the go and strip down to your system undies. It'll help you get around better.

November is a cold month and an excuse for me to get out the snuggly warm clothes and hats.

Fishy Strawberry have let me get my snuggle on with this lovely, warm, wooly looking dress for the event. The Melangool Wool Longuette Dress comes in six colours, all of which look this cozy. You can also get the Coozies scarf in a range complimentary colours to go with the dress (not shown)

The Kenzy boots which I thought looked great with the dress are from Reign. I went for the black because they'll come in handy for lots of outfits and I'm always drawn in by black boots.

The hair is one of a duo pack from Spellbound. The Bramble hair comes in in two similar styles. One with the hat and one without. The hat also comes with a colour change hud. I love hair that comes in two versions, especially when they come with accessories because you don't always want to wear the accessories.

I was impressed by the jeans from Spirit Store.

The November Jeans come in all the usual denim colours, these are the Dark Blue, and in the pack you get a choice of a version with accessories and a version without. I like the extra bits on the accessories version because it makes them feel a bit more used. The shirt, also from Spirit Store, is the November Turtleneck Sweater. I took a fancy to the Blue Strip but there are lots of other colours available too.

If you wanted something a bit more sexy than cuddly clothing then run over to the Blacklace shack and pick up the Briony lingerie.

The Azure Blue is incredibly striking and comes with all the usual mesh appliers. I love, love, LOVE appliers for the SLink Physique and I don't think I'd ever want to go back to wear system layer lingerie and it just looks so crisp. However if you are a system layer girl then those are included too!

The hair shown in the other version of the Bramble hair from Spellbound, without the hat. Super pretty with or without the hat so well worth the price.

The adorable scrabble tiles in the background are from Alouette

I loved these and you can find them at the Letter Tiles Wall Decor Gatcha at the Woodland Treasure Gatcha event which is open until the 25th. You get lots of different versions or the rare is a pack of DIY tiles that lets you make your own designs. If you win the rare and contact Scarlet Chandrayaan from Alouette then you can trade in your No Copy DIY version for a Copy version to let you use each letter more than once. How awesome is that!

The Autumn Princess's Throne, also from Alouette, is from Fit For A Princess. You could easily used this inside or outside and is perfect for autumn. This one is going to end up in my garden!

FaMESHed - June 2014

FaMESHed is open for it's newest round. The crowds should have died down by now and everyone is all set up, so now is the perfect time for a visit.

My favourite piece of this round was Short Denim Salopette from Baiastice.

I fell in love with it. It fits like a dream and is a gorgeous piece. My personal favourite is the classic rinse and it comes with a hud to change the colour of the bra or make it invisible if you wanted to wear a shirt underneath.

I really think this is the best piece that Baiastice have released to date. I never want to take it off.

Mutresse always release something great at FaMESHed and it's always fantastic value because you get all the colours for one price.

You can also change each part individually so you have maximum choice and endless colour combinations.

I really love this set. The pants especially are very summery and I've been looking for a great pair of pants that weren't jeans.

Coco have released a great Peplum Blouse.

I couldn't resist the rich blue. It comes with a version with a skirt, or without. Plus right now at Chapter Four you can play the gatcha to get more skirts to wear under this!

The hair in these pictures are from Exile. It's the London to L.A pack that is available at The Arcade. It comes with the glasses shown too, so great for summer.

Also at The Arcade is the Gone Glamping gatcha from Alouette.

Fit For A Princess - June 2014

I think I'd be a great princess. Well, I'd be good at ordering other people around and swishing around in a fancy dance with a sparkly tiara. As long as there's good tea at the palace then I'd be set.

However I don't think me being a princess is going to happen any time soon. Unless there's a prince out there who's kind of desperate... lol.

In Second Life I can be a princess as often as I like and Fit For A Princess helps with that.

This time I thought I'd go for a more modern princess

The dress from Moon Amore is the Cityscape dress. I spent ages trying to decide which colour I wanted only to then go to buy it and realise... IT'S ALL THE COLOURS! I really was that excited.

I feel like a bit of a fairy princess in this.

I thought I'd show you some more of the colour choices and it would give me a chance to show a few poses from Elephante Poses new Once Upon A Dream set.

There are a few more in the hud too! I'm very partial to the blue polka dots.

We Love Role Play - May 2014

We Love Role Play is open and I'm always suckered in by lots of lovely cosplay items. I don't role play as much as I used to, but I still love crowding my already ridiculously crowded role play folder with more goodies.

Junbug released the Notte Stellata dress for We Love To Role Play. I immediately felt a big like a shield maiden in this. I've probably been binge watching a bit too much Vikings but I still love the dress.

I'm not sure there are many red headed shield maidens in Scandinavia but I can always be the first!

The hair is from Truth and is called Lagertha (of course) and I know I've blogged it before, but it fit so perfectly with this dress.

The sword comes with the I Am A Warrior poses from Elephante Poses. Now, where did I leave my shield?

FATEplay always have some amazing costumes on offer and they have released several great pieces at this round.

Lena is a dress fit for a any Queen Regent.

There's also 25% off the two colours available at We Love To Role Play or there are more full price colours in the main store. It comes with three different colours of belt too (which is separate) so you can customise to match your crown!

I don't have a crown, I think I left it with my shield.

Also from FATEplay is the Treffa Cloak and the Duelling Gloves

Both the cloak and gloves come with a hud that can change the colour and the style/shape of the item. It includes different hand shapes for the gloves and different lengths and hood positions for the cloaks.

I'm not great at being an assassin. I don't think you're supposed to knock the door and wait for them to answer.

The house is a new release from Alouette and is at Fit For A Princess. The Morgana House is super cute, has a large downstairs room and a smaller upstairs attic room. Perfect for a small plot of land and is only 102 Land impact. It also comes with the shadow maps so you can put your own textures on there and customise to your hearts content!

Fit For A Princess

Fit For A Princess has been open for about a week now. I'm not much of a princess but I know lots of you are.

What did grab my attention is the poses. Yes, I'm a total pose whore. You'd cry if you saw my poses folder... I cry when I look in there.

It still doesn't stop me getting overexcited over new poses though. I truly am an addict.

Elephante poses released a set called Let It Go and this is my favourite pose from this set

I'm trapped in a tower in case you were wondering. In true princess style. The Princess's Tower is from Alouette and also available at Fit For A Princess

An Lar Poses also released a set of poses called The Spoiled Princess Series.

I almost look like the evil twin Princess keeping the good twin Princess hidden in the tower.

The crowns in the picture at from Elephante Poses too and are part of their gatcha. Good luck!
