The Breeze And I

It's getting to the end of Summer, it's getting cooler and there's far more rain in RL so in SL I've rented a little cabin down at Baja Norte to hold onto Summer for a little bit longer. It's such a pretty sim and if you can get yourself a rental for a couple of weeks you can enjoy Summer all year round. There are 5 sims in total so lots of explore and enjoy!

You can find lots of gorgeous Summer goodies down at Blush. It's open until the 24th so make sure you go check it out.

The Kate Dress from N-Uno is a perfect Summer dress. It comes in 7 colours but the fatpack includes 5 extra colours to play with. It's made in fitmesh as a Maitreya Lara exclusive.

Wayward Market - Dec 2015 - Part 1

Wayward Market is back for it's December round and there are lots of goodies on offer for you to get your little pixel fingers on.

This cute little Basic Cropped Tank you can find by nipping over to the Le Fil Casse booth. The tanks come in 8 colours and are made to fit the Maitreya Lara mesh body.

Underneath the tank is the Regina lingerie from Chocolate Atelier. It comes in 6 colours and includes appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, SLink and The Mesh Project along with the usual system layers.

The Bracelet and Ring are from Minimal and you have a chance to win them by playing their gacha. These are both version 1 in silver but there are many others to find in that gacha too!

Pr!tty have impressed with their Megan hair. I found this colour in the Reds Pack but they have all their usual colour packs available for you Pr!tty shoppers.

Wayward Carnival 2015 - Part 1

Wayward Carnival opened today and from now until the 30th July you have access to some great new designs from some of the best creators on the grid. They're all on one gorgeously decorated sim for you to shop until you drop.

Let's leap right into the goodies.

League have released the brand new Sylph Dress for the event. It comes in several adorable colours with two different bead options on the bust area. It includes a hud that allows you change the colours of those beads too.

The delicate necklace I'm wearing is from Things. It's the Campania Necklace in gold and I think it's a gorgeous feminine piece that goes great with formal wear (pixel prom guys!!!).

Imeka makes some adorable little attachments and this little Cake Ice Cream Cone is no different. You need to throw a few lindens in the gacha to get one but each one comes with a little hud so you can choose between vanilla and chocolate cake in your cone. The cone also as an animation that forces you to hold it upright so you don't smear frosting all over your brand new clothes.

Pr!tty released the lovely Daisy style and it does indeed include the pretty little daisy. I struggle finding a red that is like my usual red colour but there are some pretty awesome alternatives to play around with.

Baiastice have released a brand new bikini for the Wayward Carnival.

It has adorable ruffles across the bra top and little modesty skirt on the bottoms. There are regular and lace versions of this bikini but not all the colours are available in the lace option. Also this one doesn't have fit mesh versions but the standard size small fit my Maitreya well with a little butt shrinking.

The Wooden Button Jewellery is from Izzie's. The ring and bracelets come in lots of different colours but I think the more natural wooden colours are my favourites.

The Chapter Four - May 2015

The Chapter Four has been open for two years now and to celebrate their 2nd anniversary some of the creators have put out little gifts for you to grab. You need to be in The Chapter Four update group to get them but the group is free to join if you're not already in it.

Fishy Strawberry are in the 2-4-1 section which means that you get two Birthday Girl shirt colours for the price of one. The Mint and Lemon caught my eye but there's also a choice of Black & Grey or Berry & Dusty Blue. They also come with a hud that allows you to change the colour of the skirt or remove it completely and just wear the shirt. While you are at the Fishy Strawberry section of The Chapter Four don't forget to grab the Moto Leggings gift because they work perfectly with the shirt only version of the Birthday Girl.

The shoes you can chance your luck trying to get from the Nikotin Forcefield gacha. These are the Letters version but of course there are other colours available to win. They are unisex and I resized these easily to fit over my Maitreya Lara feet with no problems.

The Kimberly Tucked hair and the Kitten Headband are both from Pr!tty. The hair and headbands are in seperate gachas so you don't have to worry about ending up with 40 headbands trying to win some hair but of course the headbands fit perfectly with it so you're going to want to play both machines.

Also I'd like to introduce you to Jeff and Jeffina. Jeff is the Ferret Friend from Birdy. He's the Huggable Green version that's a rare in the Birdy gacha. Jeffina is the anniversary gift for The Chapter Four and she a rezzable version. Don't they make the cutest little couple!

I included a few things that you can pick up at the Kawaii Project once you are done shopping at The Chapter Four. The first is the super, super cute YumYum Leggings from Atomic. These ones are the Pistachio version because it's green ice cream but of course there are other delicious flavours on offer.

The necklaces are both from Imeka. The shorter of the two is Cupcake Necklace With Bow. It includes a hud that allows you to change the pieces of the cupcake and the bow to a choice of four colours. You can mix and match to make your own personal cupcake flavour!

The longer of the two is the Bow Necklace With Pearls. The hud on this one allows you to change the metal between gold and silver and to change the colour of the bows and pearls.

The cute little cart in the background is the Bakery Cart from Exposeur. There's no poses in this pieces it's just a pretty piece of furniture and you can find it over at the Kawaii Project too!

The Chapter Four - April 2015

This is just a quickie post to show you some bits I nabbed from The Chapter Four. The past few days have been very hectic in RL so I've not had much chance to SL shop!

So here I am, running it, throwing this pic at you and a little bit of mumbling and then running away!

The outfit is from Gizza. It's the Melanie Outfit and I went for the Vintage colour version but there are two others to choose from too. The top and pants are separate so if you buy more than one colour option then you can mix and match.

The Bom hair and the Spring Bunny Lights headband are from the Pr!tty gachas. They are in separate gacha machines so you don't have to worry about ending up with endless headbands trying to get hair and vice versa.

You can get the Mon Cabas bag from the NuDoLu gacha. The commons all have different initials on them and come in different colours. So you can either play to get your initial or play to get the colour you really want.

The wagon and the little puppy are both from Ionic. Their gatcha has pets as commons and the wagon as a rare. I was actually just playing for a pet and lucked out getting the rare wagon on my first play. I'm kinda glad I got it though.

The pose is from the Karyn pose pack by Picture Me Pretty. You can find this pack and others by Picture Me Pretty at Pose Fair 2015. Don't forget to go visit it!

The Chapter Four - Feb 2015

Have you been to The Chapter Four yet?

They opened on the 4th with a brand new round of goodies for you to delve into. I grabbed a few things and played some gachas and probably had the luckiest run on a gacha I have ever had in my life! More about that later...

I grabbed two outfits and both happened to be from ionic.

The first is Outfit 2 Sweater & Skirt.

The outfit includes a cute sweater and shirt combo and a short skirt. There's three different colour sets to choose from. You can wear the top and skirt separately so if you get more than one colour then of course of you can mix and match.

The second outfit is the Winter Dress.

You get both the black and lilac colours in the pack so you don't have to decide between the two. It's an adorable dress and it even fit over the top of my Maitreya body using the hud to alpha out where needed. I love things I can wear over my mesh bodies.

The socks in both pictures are the Foxy Socks from Atomic. You get system layers and appliers for your mesh bodies in the pack. The tops of the socks are separate mesh pieces that you can resize to fit your legs perfectly. These were too adorable to pass up.

The glasses are from Fishy Strawberry and are the Feline Glasses.You get both a normal and sunglasses version and a hud that lets you change the colour of different parts of the frame to make yourself a unique pair if you wish. It includes not only colour but different patterns such as animal furs. Super cute!

Also while you're at The Chapter Four throw a few lindens into the Pr!tty gacha to get yourself a Dara hair. I ended up with Brown 3 & 4 which is a bit of a different look for me but I think it's cute. You can keep playing until you hit the colour you want, trade some, give some to your friends or just wear whatever pops out first!

Talking of gachas I mentioned my luckiest gacha streak ever and that was when I found my way over to the Apple Fall gacha.

When it comes to furniture gachas I tend to play a few times and as soon as I hit a double I'll give up. It's how I stop myself plowing thousands into the machines. I'll give away my double to a friend and then use whatever it was I managed to grab. However when I put my lindens into the Apple Fall gacha I managed to land every item in it, one after the other, without a single double. Not going to lie there was a lot of over excited chair dancing. I've never managed that ever and I don't think I ever will again.

However even if you only play a couple of times you're going to get some really pretty furniture to rez at your house so throw a few lindens in the Apple Fall gacha direction.

The cute little tray with goodies on it is a collaboration from Dust Bunny and Windsong. It's only 85L and has gorgeous looking food and a card. It might be a touch late for Valentine's Day but who says you can't send someone a card that says you love them more than peanut butter all year round? I'd love that.

The Chapter Four - Jan 2014

I took a quick trip over to The Chapter Four to play some gatchas and grab some bargains.

Gizza had a fantastic bargain in the form of the Natalie Outfit

The top and skirt come in a pack for only 99L but are still separate pieces so not only can you wear them with your inventory favourites but if you wanted to buy more and than one colour pack then you can mix and match. Although as an outfit it's super cute and almost a dress, but not quite, so it lets you flash some skin!

The adorable little collar is the Peter Pan Embellished Collar from Glam Affair. You can get one of these by throwing a few lindens in their gatcha. You'll get yourself a black and white version no matter which you win. This is number 5 with a simple metal edge to the collar but others have much more embellishment on them.

The hair you can also get from The Chapter Four as is the Vera style from Mina. It's an unrigged style so great for those with smaller or larger than usual heads. I've even seen Amadeo running around it so it would work for men who like this style too!

I may have gotten a little bit silly after I snagged myself a LOLlama from Birdy.

I'd already gotten a Sparkle Mask from the Gizza gatcha machine and some adorably pretty Amanda hair from Pr!tty so once I got the LOLlama the laughing started. I suggest you give your LOLlama a little click because he makes some interesting noises!

The skinny jeans are not to be missed and can be won from the Colored Skinny Jeans by Coco. Lots of colours and we all know how handy skinny jeans are in our inventories. Grab yourself a few colours, share your doubles with your friends and you'll be everyone's favourite skinny jean fairy!

I couldn't resist getting some furniture and decor bits from the Apple Fall and Hideki gatcha despite having zero room in my house to rez them and having to rez out an entirely new house to put them in.

I may have a hoarding problem. Send help!

Oneword - September 2014 - CATS!

Oneword is open for it's newest round and the theme is cats!

This will bring out the crazy cat lady in everyone, including me. The more cats the better and it's making me want a kitten in real life... but I bet my ratties won't be too keen on that!

So let's take a peek at a few of the things available.

Junbug have gone full on crazy cat lady with this full length, fur lined coat.

If a cat print coat doesn't scream cats then I don't know what does. It's a lovely coat and has a lovely fit with an adorable print.

The ears you can nab from the Pr!tty gatcha. These are the black but there are lots of colours in the gatcha, including versions with little pearls on.

Maybe you'd like to try and integrate into the local cat population.

You'll need some fuzzy ears so the Katy hair from Pr!tty might help. It comes with the adorable hat that is available in a few different colours. I went for the lime because it had pretty green and pink flowers on it.

You might not want to go full kitty, so you'll need some shoes. LVLE have super cute Georgie shoes that fit the SLink flat feet. They have adorable little kitty buttons on the front and I know she named them after her own fuzzy love of her life George. I'm sure he's super proud.

Rhapsody is closing it's doors on Saturday (12th) so that means you still have a little bit of time to go and check out what is available if you haven't already. This Country Rd 22 Dress from Coquet is super cute and great for summer. It's very pretty and a little bit sexy with the plunging neckline. Throw a simple vest shirt underneath if you wanted to keep the lady lumps covered up!

Of course I had to drag out my horse, Jeff, to pose for a picture with me. Isn't he just the sexiest!

I look a bit lost in thought. I'm clearly thinking about all the other things I can buy at Rhapsody!

Moving on to a very classy and sexy look...

Indyra have release an very elegant Idol Skirt and matching Idol Top.

I love a good pencil skirt and this one is a glorious shape that makes your booty look scrumptious. What more could you want from a skirt? The detailing on the front is lovely too and sets it apart from just plain pencil skirts.

The cropped shirt lets you flash just a little bit of skin too! I teamed it with the cute necklace from LouLou&Co.

The microphone and stage are part of the Rhapsody Jazz set from Kuro. The It's All About Jazz Prints are a great new release from Kokolores.

Amadeo is my piano playing man prop and currently is not for sale! LOL

The last thing I nabbed from Rhapsody is a sexy jumpsuit from Sakide.

It's revealing and reminiscent of a formal tux. It also comes with the shoes, which need the SLink high feet to use.

The studded skull artwork is a release from Pilot also for Rhapsody. It comes in several stud colour choices but the gold called to me. So much so that I went a rare blonde! Mark the calendars!

I wanted to sneak in a great pair of shoes from LVLE. These have been released for the Family Flea Market which is open now, until the 28th. The best part is you get 50% off these!

Rhapsody 2014 - Part 1

Rhapsody has been open since the 28th June and after exploring I can guarantee you that it's jam packed with so much amazing stuff that it would take forever to show it all to you.

The sim has eight different themes which include: Punk, Pop, Country, Classic Rock, Metal, Jazz, Electronic & Disco

A total of 101 designers and the only way to see it all is to go and explore the sim yourself!

So let's jump in...

Baiastice have released an absolutely adorable little Petra Palm Jumpsuit. The pink stood out to me the most and of course I had to go Disco with this one!

Mooh have made a great pair of skates that come with a colour change hud for Rhapsody. What better way to disco than to roller disco!

The cute little kitty ear headphones are from Modish and these are the Kitty Headphones in white. They fit great over this gorgeous pink Summer Wine hair from Milk.

Pixicat brought a metal inspired Dark Dress and Dark Armbands.

It's a slinky, sexy dress that is made a little bit dark by adding spikes and stunning metal bodice. It comes with a hud that has different patterns and colours to choose from. Even with the spikes it looks sophisticated so I couldn't resist teaming it with Cola Hair from Milk to give get a classy, jazz inspired look.

The microphone is a wonderfully detailed prop from Picture This and comes with several different poses.

For a bit of a modern country inspired look I grabbed some goodies from Haste, Coquet and Fri.day

The Jezebel Heels require the SLink medium heels to wear them so make sure you have a pair. The guitar is a great accessory from Haste.

The Fringe Tube Top is also from Haste and looked great with the Country Rd 44 Skirt from Coquet. Both come in several colours but I went for the peach.

I've never come across the store Pritty (Pr!tty) before but I really liked their Ami hair. It's really pretty and the colours are all an ombre style with darker roots and lighter tips.

There is so much more at Rhapsody that you need to go and see, I'll be showing you some more as soon as I can.
