Wayward Halloween 2015 - Part 2

Things get a little bit creepy around Halloween and the Wayward Halloween event has lots of goodies that are going to let you indulge in lots of creepy activities.

Moon Elixir have released their Roguish gacha and you can get yourself pieces of the outfit in several different colours. I made this outfit by combining the Charcoal Pants & Top with the Rare Ripped Hood and Rare Horns.

The Angel Of Hell Wings are the rare win from the Astralia gacha. They come with a hud that allows you to change the colour of the feathers and even have some bloody feathers in there.

White Widow have a gacha full of tattoos and this is the Black Vertigo rare from that machine. There are lots of different pieces to win in three different ink colours so even if you don't get the rare you'll still get some pretty tattoos to wear.

Things can get a little disturbing at Halloween...

I kind of love that I can end up creating something quite disturbing with goodies I got from Wayward Halloween gachas. Disturbing is always fun!

You can get the dress, armlet and sandals from Cloud in the Dawn gacha. The Sandals with socks are a rare win that come with a colour change hud but all the other pieces are commons.

The seriously disturbing cuts and stitches is the Cosmetic Replacement rare win from the Antielle Beauty Clinic gacha. You can also get the Nosejob Bruises in there too along with several other unsettling tattoo and apply pieces.

Wayward Halloween is open until October 31st so grab your friends and go trick or treat for some gacha goodies!

The Almost Faun (NSFW)

We Love Role Play is open again and this time they have a brand new sim so you'll need to update your LM's. You have until September 30th to go and check it all out.

I grabbed a few pieces that took my fancy but I was extremely taken with this Altar tattoo from White Widow.

The design feels like old lace. I love the scalloped shape of the areas where the design is on the body and I went with the Black but there's also a brown and white version available. It comes with appliers for pretty much every mesh body you can imagine and Omega appliers to cover everything else.

The harness is the Ashie V2 Harness in Black and you can find in the Haste booth. They've started to include fitmesh for the Maitreya and SLink Physique in their packs, which is awesome, along with the usual standard sizes. There are 5 different metal colours available.

The poses used in both sections of the picture are from Bang. The single pose you can find in the Stands 520-529 pack and the couples pose is called Savior. Both the pack of single poses and the couples pose are available at We Love Role Play.

Whore Couture 4

Whore Couture is back for their fourth instalment and has been open for a while now so hopefully all the rush will have died down. Their doors will still be open until the 31st March so you have two weeks to take your butt down there and grab some bits.

I've been having way too much fun saying Whore Courture 4. WhooooreeeCoutuuuurreeeFoooouuurr! Yeah I know, I know. I need to get outside me. But seriously it's fun to say... a lot.

Onto the goodies...

Since I've gotten my SLink Physique and my Maitreya Lara mesh bodies I've been embracing some applier based clothing that maybe I would have passed over on a basic system layer. Appliers allow the texture to be much more crisp and detailed, more like mesh, than a basic system layer.

So my first purchases were the Amber Top and Amber Bottom from So-Hai

You purchase the top and bottom separately so you can mix and match the colours on offer or buy two the same colour for more of an outfit look. It comes on appliers for SLink Physique or for the Omega system that covers pretty much every other mesh body and part on the market.

The stockings are a great little Freebie from Avanti. The Whore Couture Four Stockings can be grabbed while you're having a wander around. They come in system layers or on Omega, Maitreya, Belleza and SLink appliers so you're covered for your mesh body. I always love it when designers pop a lovely little freebie out at a fair and it's something that you know you're going to get decent use out of.

The other outfit I grabbed was from Beautiful Dirty Rich

The It's Rainin' Hundreds outfit comes with a hud that includes appliers SLink, Lena, WowMeh, Maitreya, Lolas and Omega. So I'm pretty sure your body is going to be covered under one of those. If you don't have a mesh body then of course there are standard system layers for you. The outfit includes a pair of shoes that fit the SLink high feet too. So this really is a full outfit and one available in lots of bright, attention grabbing, colours too.

The awesome pose prop that I used is the Red Light Showcase from Exposeur. This is also down at Whore Couture and not only includes the pose prop with the doorway, steps and windows but also an entire street piece so you can make your own scenes to take pictures in.

I added a cop car I found on the Marketplace a long time ago and a piece of road from the Urban Road Pack from Tampon Inside. Play with it, add your own things and make sleazy back street strip club scene!

FaMESHed - March 2015

FaMESHed has it's doors wide open for you to run in and scoop up some lovely new spring feeling goodies.

My favourite for this round was a top and shorts from Emery

The cute little Geek T-Shirt tucks perfectly into the Harvey Denim Shorts. I really liked the shorts but they didn't quite fit my medium standard sized shape. Once you wear the shirt with it it's not an issue but make sure you demo if you plan on wearing the shorts alone or with something that isn't the T-Shirts made to go with them.

This adorable high ponytail is from Wasabi Pills. I love the straight, blunt fringe (bangs for you American ladies) but instead of being dead straight it has some messiness to it. I grabbed the Reds pack but all the usual colour packs are available.

Baiastice is contributing to my lingerie obsession with their Lace Dream set.

I loved the Celeste colour because the pale blue was so pretty in this sheer lacy fabric. The darker colours looked prettier in the non-sheer version of the slip that is also included. You get a little pair of panties in the pack too. As with all Baiastice lingerie there are no alphas as they are made to perfectly fit the standard sizes. Please do try a demo if you hover between sizes or are unsure.

Blueberry are really starting to impress me with their recently releases.

This Tank Top in Mint is pretty and floaty and makes me want to get ready for Summer. It has versions that are fitted perfectly for SLink Physique, Belleza Venus and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies and all your usual standard sizes too.

The pants are a brand new release from Bueno. This is another brand provides mesh body fitmesh for the previously mentioned bodies. The booty looks incredibly on these and they fit like a glove. Even the standard sizes fit really well. There are lots of different colours to pick from but I love a classic black pant.

Before you scurry off let's have a look at the home and garden items I had hiding away in the background of the pictures.

I fell in love with this Kalopsia Tee Pee the second I saw it. I snatched one into my inventory so quick it would have made your head spin. Of course I went for the pink because it was pretty and girly. It comes with lots of poses for singles and for couples and friends.

If you prefer a less casual style of garden furniture then the Jake's Messy Garden Set from Cheeky Pea might be more your thing.

This set is beyond gorgeous. The couch, which has PG or adult animations, includes a menu that allows you to change the colour of the pillows between brights, patterns and more subdued colours. All the little pieces and the lean-to can all be bought separately or of course as on big pack to save you a few lindens.

Uber Celestial

Uber has taken on a Celestial theme for this round and I found myself ooooing and aaahhhing over lots of different things that were unique and gorgeous.

I think the piece I made the most noise about was from Baiastice.

The sheer version of the Kristine Dress is truely stunning. It even includes a tiny little pair of panties to go underneath the dress so you get to keep your modesty. However these are totally optional for the more daring out there. If sheer isn't your thing then of course there is a full fabric version that still leaves you with a gorgeous dress and nothing on show!

The hair is a brand new release from Truth. The Esther style comes in all the usual colour packs and even includes the hair clip in a choice of either silver or gold. I decided to go for this striking white colour in the Black & Whites pack for a nice change.

ISON always bring utter class to any event with their releases and the Celestial Bell Sleeve Top and Celestial Maxi Skirt manage this while still managing to look a bit more than your normal top and skirt combo

The panels in the top are all slightly different colours and almost have an armour look to them. I like how when together this has a very dress look about it but being separates it means that you can buy more than one colour and mix and match to your hearts content.

The Celestial Neck Piece comes in a choice of gold or silver and includes a rigged and unrigged version. It adds an extra touch of difference and uniqueness to this outfit without being too out there.

If you want to get really celestial then Pixicat has the outfit you'll need.

The Visionary Jacket, Pants and Boots come in so many colour packs it'll make your head spin! Each pack contains more than one colour and a hud that allows you to change the colour of the metal pieces to silver or gold.

The necklace is a pack from Yummy. The Layered Celestial Necklace comes as a joined three piece set or you can choose to wear the pieces individually for a more delicate look. I personally like all three together.

The hair is a brand new style from Wasabi Pills. It's the Sibel style and I decided to go for a slightly darker red this time. It's the same Reds Pack I usually buy so it's always fun to have multiple colours to wear hair to suit your mood.

Foxes have released two new jumpsuits for this round of Uber. Both are gorgeous and I couldn't decide between the two so both ended up in my inventory.

The first one is the Sheer Neck Jumpsuit.

It comes in both a silver and gold metal version and I really liked the shimmery feel to this off white colour. It's much more noticeable in world. I really like the sheer neck of this. Sometimes it can feel a bit exposing to wear strapless jumpsuits. I know in RL I'd be terrified of them slipping down! Although it's not something we have to worry about SL it's nice to have options and this sheer halter neck style is a great one to have.

However if you do want to flash some cleavage then they have an equally great V-Neck Jumpsuit.

It's definitely going to flash some flesh and the black leather colour in this style just called to me. Again you get a choice of metals so you can match it with your accessories. The folds and detail in these jumpsuits is amazing so if you're unsure then please just try and demo and see for yourself how lovely they are.

Last, but my no means least, is Erratic with their Neo Leather Jacket.

While the white version in the picture was gorgeous I'm not a massive wearer of white and my heart immediately wanted me to get the black. However it wasn't easy to see the fantastic detail in the leather on the black so I found myself edging towards this impressive Silver. It's won me over and I love it.

Mix It And Match It

So many great events in Second Life that sometimes it's hard to keep track. I know there's been lots of complaining recently that there are way too many and people don't like them but personally I'm a HUGE event fan. Where else can you go and find things from several of your favourite designers at great prices and even get the opportunity to stumble upon a new creator that you've never spotted before!

Long live the SL event!

So obviously since I've been shopping events I've grabbed some things from several and decided to share them all with you.

Here we go!

My favourite piece is this Oslo shirt from Fishy Strawberry which you can find at The Chapter Four.

Super cute and casual and comes in several colours that you can use a hud to change. You buy the colour of the denim parts that most takes your fancy and the plaid changes at the click of a button to suit whatever you decide to wear underneath it.

You might be looking at my hair and going... o.O

I did too! But it made me laugh and I HAD to blog it for that reason alone. It's a gatcha win from Mina Hair at The Chapter Four. It's called bloom and is Bloom crazy and curly, and you can even win the flowers and leaves that go with it.

Even though I have crazy hair right now I have some very sleek and sexy looking nails.

These are the Fall Studded V nails from LVLE and you can grab them from My SLink Obsession. This means you're going to need SLink hands or feet to wear these but if you don't have SLink enhancements by now... WHY NOT! You are missing out on so many great things that people make for the SLink system.

In case you didn't notice I've created myself a little nap spot with some bits from some of my favourite furniture creators in SL.

This adorable little round chair bed is the Shae Cosy from Cheeky Pea. You can find it at The Mens Dept in 3 different colours but of course I went for the girly option. The clocks and the dresser you can get from the Alouette mainstore. The Meghan Clock is the large, freestanding clock and the Table Clock is the smaller on that I have perched on top of the Worn French Dresser.

You're going to want to check out all the events and grab all the pieces you want before they close!

Collabor88 - October 2014

Things are getting spoopy down at Collabor88. Yes you read that right.. spoopy! It's Spoopy Motel month and things are creepy in a The Shining kind of way...

Milk Motion has me all snuggled up in their super comfy Loose Knit Sweater and Pleated Mini Skirt.

The hair is a brand new release for Collabor88 from Exile. Check Out Time is a lovely up-do and is piled high on the head. I love a good up-do and Exile has provided!

If you'd like a pretty, frilly dress then Tres Blah have just what you need.

This is Darling in the Salmon colour. I love that the collar and skirt are a different colour on this one but you have the option to buy colours where it's all the same.

The adorable little Room Key 237 Necklace is from Yummy. You might not actually want to use that key though... things could get really Spoopy!

The hair is one of two versions of the same hair from Clawtooth. This is the Before Dark version and is great for everyday wear. As usual I went for the Exquisite Reds Pack.

If you'd like something sleeker and sexier than frills then the Sonia Dress from Teefy is a gorgeous new release. I really like the high low skirt on this one and the optional harness and shoulder frills.

The boots you can nab yourself from Hucci for the bargain price of 88L. 88L for boots! Go, run, now! It's one hell of a deal with lots of different colours to choose from.

I've noticed a lot of dresses recently that resemble lingerie and ISON have joined this movement with their Silk Slip Dress.

I almost felt like I'd snuck out of my hotel room in my lingerie! I love the texture on this and of course I had to grab a pair of the Thigh High Hoove Boots while I was there. I can't resist overknee boots and these ones are gorgeous and a bit different from the norm.

I made friends with this ghost lamp from Apple Fall. I've called him Jeff. I love lamp!

As if running around a dark spoopy motel in a little slip dress wasn't enough Baiastice brought some lingerie to Collabor88 to let me show off even more skin!

The Lycia Lingerie comes in lots of colours and you get a choice of solid fabric of lacy fabric in each colour. You don't have to pick between the two as you'll get both in the pack. You could even mix and match them if you wanted as they are separate pieces. However I will warn you that this set does not have alpha layers so you will need to mod your body to exactly fit it if you aren't a perfect standard size. It'll be worth it though but TRY A DEMO!

The Helsinki Boots are also from Baiastice and you can choose between leather or suede in colours to match the Lycia Lingerie. I went for the leather in this lovely rich Olive colour. Totally gorgeous and really detailed.

Okay so this last picture might not be for you if you are squeamish or don't like blood and gore, but I couldn't resist making this picture to show off the dress from The Secret Store and the second version of the hair from Clawtooth.

I warned you! The Anita Empire Dress in Beetle grabbed my attention immediately and the other colours didn't even get a look in as this bounced right into my inventory. It does not come with the blood (this was something I added later). However the Scream Queen hair from Clawtooth does come with the blood and the delightful knife sticking out the top of your swede there! Great for Halloween, for pics and for general silliness as it's not too gory with all the added blood!

The blood you can see splattered all over my body (not on the dress) is from Ama. He's been busy making lots of blood and gore for Halloween and gore lovers alike. He's got lots of other bits like mud and dirty hands which are great for pictures and come with appliers for your favourite mesh bits too!

Mystic Realms Faire 2014 - Part 1

The Mystic Realms Fair 2014 is open for your shopping pleasure! Be warned the sims have a script limit so if you go there dressed to the nines then you will be booted. Let's be good SLers and deprim, demesh and rock up there bald and duck waddling in your favourite system underwear. I know you still have some...

So if you're going to duck waddle it has to be for some amazing stuff right? Well you won't be disappointed!

Zaara has a beautiful outfit for you. The Chandi Lehenga outfit comes in separate pieces so you can mix and match colours if you so wish.

It's stunningly well made and the textures are amazing. I was blown away at how pretty this outfit is. Lots of detail and gorgeous colours. The Royal Command hair you can grab from Exile. It comes with the optional crown. Optional is always good since it's a great hair for normal wear too.

Velvet Whip also have some new releases for The Mystic Realm Faire.

I love the sleeves on the Fjona Tunic and how they come down to cover the hands. The tunic also comes with the leggings to wear underneath on a system layer. But feel free to wear, or not wear, whatever you want underneath it.

The crown is also from Velvet Whip. This one is the Tribal Tiara in Ice colour. You shouldn't have any problems fitting this because the crown pierces right into the skull so you can wear this as close or as far from your head as you'd like.

The staff is from Cila and is called The Key To My Heart. This one is the gold version and has an option to change the heart piece at the top to pink instead of solid gold.

The hair you can nab from Mina. This is the Simone style and I decided instead of my usual reds to go with the dark blondes for this picture. Whichever colour pack takes your fancy it's a great style that can be used for everyday wear too.

Truth has some great new hair for the event too.

This is the Thalia style and comes with an optional crown. There are some pretty awesome curls down the back of this style and it looks just as good without the crown.

The collar is from Peqe and is one of the colour options of the Gorget Collar range. This is the Gold/Onyx version. It's a rigged mesh collar is the usual standard sizes but also includes a non rigged version for those of you who would prefer to resize it to fit, especially if your avatar isn't a standard size.

Also from Peqe is the Mystic Flow dress

The Green shouted out to me that it needed to be mine and it's a lovely shape with a delightful flowing train at the back. Not too long, but just enough to be pretty and floaty. I felt a little bit like a real life Statue Of Liberty in this outfit! lol

Candy Fair 2014 - Part 1

Candy Fair 2014 is underway and is two sims packed fully of ooey, gooey, yummy, scrummy delights!

So grab a spoon, let's dive right in!

I think my favourite things from Candy Fair 2014 are the new pose boxes from Exposeur. There's a candy filled room of wonder and your very own candy store. Both of which are sure to be great and fantastic for you dentist's income this year.

Candy Colours is filled with chewy hard gums and hanging bubble gum balls.

So many colours. It reminds me of something you might stumble upon if you got to walk around Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. You get lots of poses too and they are all fully adjustable to make sure you're fitting perfectly in there.

If you're wondering what has taken residence on my head... that would be Jeff. Jeff is a pink candy floss sheep I think. He sure looks like a sheep to me. He's super cute and keeps my head toasty warm. You can grab some of these from the Half Deer Cloudsugar Hat gatcha. This is Pink Candy Hearts but there are lots of others.

The Maiden Dress is from Pixicat. This isn't at Candy Fair but you can find them at The Gathering Gatcha Event which is open until the 15th October so you still have a few days to run down there and grab them.

Now as much as I love candy and chocolate it's not 100% where my heart lies and I think Plethora was thinking about me when they made this...

Yes, that is exactly what it looks like. You can daydream about bacon too if you grab the Sweet Idea though bubble in Bacon. Mmmmm bacon...

It will hide in the background until someone mentions bacon and then you'll be off in your very own bacon fantasy land. Yup, it reacts to your typing and appears when the word 'bacon' is mentioned in main chat.

If a room filled with candy isn't for you then maybe a trip down to the SugarBowl would be more your thing.

This is the second room from Exposeur and is a super pretty ice-cream and candy shop. Lots of poses that are in front and behind the counter so you could even indulge in a little roleplay with this if you really wanted to.

If you want to pop some gum then Plethora has you covered. This adorable little popping gum actually blows up and then makes a pop sound. It does it every few seconds or so, so just like if you were chewing actual bubble gum. How cute is that?!

The Nuno Outfit is from Haste and is another gatcha goody you can grab from The Gathering. This is the Mint and you get a hud that lets you change the colour of the metal on belt. They are separate pieces so if you wanted to you can play a few times and mix and match colours.

After all that candy you might want to snuggle some fruit? I'd be more than happy to snuggle fruit if it always looked this cute.

The adorable little Fruit Cushion is from Sway's. This is the Orange and they are in the gatcha garden in the middle of The Candy Fair sims. It's texture change so it can be just an orange or so it can have this adorable little face on it. Who wouldn't want an adorable face on their fruit?

The necklace is in the BananaN gatcha. I was lucky enough to get the Silver Lamb rare so I hope you get the ones you want too!

The furniture set is the Sweet Living Room Set from Sway's

This is the Bubblegum version and is all pretty bubble gum colours and has little bubblegums all over the rug. I rezzed out a few more of the Fruit Cushions because they were too cute not to. You can also try your luck with the Heart Candy Pouf gatcha. They look like Love Hearts sweets and even have the adorable little sayings on them just like the sweets. This one says 'love you' and is a rare but there are others to chance your luck at too!
