Fashion For Life - Wanderlust - Part 3

Fashion For Life closes on the 20th of June. That leaves you three days to explore those sims if you haven't already, to nab those things you wanted but never got chance or didn't have the cash and to donate some of your lindens to the American Cancer Society.

Every little bit helps and you get to help a great charity while grabbing some awesome new clothes, shoes, hair... whatever takes your fancy.

This will be my last post for Fashion For Life and I hope you enjoyed exploring the sims as much as I did. They were built by some incredibly talented designers who deserve a round of applause for what they managed to pull off.

Well done to all the Fashion For Life team, you did an amazing job and you can be really proud of yourself!

Now onto the last few things I have left to show you...

Positure Poses have released an adorable dance pose for you and your favourite dance partner

Of course I had to grab Valentine, he's the only one tall enough to dance with me (sorry all my other short ass friends! LOL).

The dress is a collaboration from Donna Flora and Miamai. It was one of the last things that Donna Flora made before she sadly passed away. Miamai decided to re-release this dress for Fashion For Life to help raise money. It's a very fitting cause.

Also from Miamai is this beautiful Shae full length gown.

This is so unique and pretty. I'm not usually a big fan of purple but this is so stunning it makes me feel like a lily. Now I need to convince people to go ballroom dancing with me so I can float about looking lovely in this gorgeous dress.

M&M are a new store to me but she's released some very pretty dresses for Fashion For Life.

This very pretty and summary Long Red Dress comes with a Pandora Style Bangle too. I love the colours on this and it's a great maxi dress to either wear with sandals or vamp it up with a pair of sexy heels.

The Gladys Dress is another release from M&M for Fashion For Life

It comes with a necklace and bracelet. The style on this dress is really classy and elegant but still has a nice casual feel to it. Another one that can be seriously vamped up with some super high heels. I'll be keeping my eye out for M&M from now on.

Last, but by no means least is a beautiful dress from Kaithleen's

The colours and patterns on this dress makes me think of an aquarium mixed with an Hawaiian shirt.. There are several other colours available for this dress but this one was definitely my favourite. The fit is great too and Kaithleen's is really doing well with their original mesh. A great dress and well worth at least a demo!

Go and explore before the sims close or you will regret missing out on the hundreds of amazing things on offer. Even if you don't take a fancy to anything then please consider just throwing a few lindens in a donation pod.

Fashion For Life 2014 - Wanderlust - Part 2

Fashion For Life is in full swing and by now all the late-comers should be set up too. (RL happens! What can you do eh?)

If you've already been then it might be time to do a second sweep, see what you missed the first time around. If you haven't been yet... why not? Go!

Go because it's a great event that supports a great charity. American Cancer Society benefits from everything you buy. Every vendor donates something towards them so even something you consider a 'small purchase' is helping!

You've got until the 20th to shop so get moving! In the meantime, since you're here you might as well keep reading!

Somnia has released some great music themed pieces for Fashion For Life

I couldn't resist throwing some epic shapes in this outfit. I even finished it off with the 'Ponty Point' (it's a local thing). The Melody Shirt, Skirt and Shoes all come with a colour change hud so you can mix and match your pieces. I went for a classic black and white.

If you're more the type of lady who likes to get dressed up and hit a club to show off your impressive dance moves then Girl Thursday has a Fashion For Life Exclusive that will float your boat

The Giftwrapped Dress is a sequined delight for those who love to show off. The Lilac colour is the exclusive colour but there are several others available. It also comes with optional bows for the back and front.

The hair is a Fashion For Life release from Mina. I've grown into a big Mina Hair fan recently and this is another great one. The Femke hair is so gorgeous of course I had to take a selfie!

For something a bit more casual and perfect for summer the Adrift Dress from Even.Flow pushes all the buttons.

I fell in love with this the second I put it on. It's a gorgeous dress and I'm a sucker for a good maxi dress. Just what you need for long, lazy summer days.

The hair I grabbed from Clawtooth at The Arcade. It's still running so if you've love to get this Boardwalk Breeze style for a bargain price then run over to The Arcade once you've explored the Fashion For Life sims!

Redux has released something a bit different and very much in tune with the theme Wanderlust.

This vibrant Journey To The East Dress is so pretty. I love the little flowers down the front and intense purple colour. The Plum Blossom is the Fashion For Life exclusive. Of course I had to grab the World Traveller Passport Bag, which is also from Redux, to go with it. I love the pairing of green and purple.

I was wondering for ages about hair to wear with this dress. I wanted something cute, but that would compliment the dress. Then I remembered the Sakura hair that Truth released at The Arcade. I remembered the pretty flowers that came as an attachment for it and how they beautifully mirrored the flowers on the front of the dress. It was perfect. I couldn't have planned it better!

Of course I couldn't get through any event without showing you some shoes. Essenz have delivered us some great ones!

Whether you have high, medium or flat SLink feet (or all three) then there is something for you at Fashion For Life from these great shoe designers. They also have a really good gatcha with the Laguna shoes (middle) for only 70L. An absolute bargain for shoes.

Fashion For Life - Wanderlust - Part 1

Fashion For Life has opened it's doors with TEN, yes TEN, sims packed to the rafters with goodies that all have a donation amount to the American Cancer Society.

It runs from the 7th - 20th June and the theme is Wanderlust. Travel, movement and the carefree attitude that summer evokes in people.

The organisers of Fashion For Life said the following about their chosen theme this year...

"The theme is Wanderlust - expressing the joy of the journey. Many people struggling with cancer describe it as a journey, one fraught with peril and sometimes despair, but there are also moments of joy and recovery. The global struggle against cancer is also a journey from our impotent past to our current present where we have many more tools to treat cancer to a hopeful future where cancer no longer looms large in our lives."

You can help be part of that future by visiting the sims and buying exclusive Fashion For Life items from one of the many generous designers.

There is literally so much to choose from and this is going to be a long post! So buckle up shopping addicts... here we go!

My personal favourite from the entire fair is by far the gorgeous Sachi Flare Dress from Mon Cheri.

Not only has she created a gorgeous dress, but beautiful Rose Espadrilles and two different sets of earrings to go with them. The first pair are the Gypsy Beads Earrings and I promise to show you the others a little bit later on in this post. Also the dress does come with optional sleeves if you want to make it even more floaty and feminine looking.

The Kippar Hair, also available at Fashion For Life, is from Damselfly. Damselfly have really come SO far with their hair recently. I am 100% impressed with this one and as much as I love to stop I'm a bit of a picky chooser when it comes to hair. However this one is a keeper and will be heading into regular hair circulation in my inventory!

The fun suitcase is from NanTra and comes in a pose pack called Jet Set. Perfect for all those holiday pics you plan on taking right?

I discovered Lacuna in a previous round of My Attic and they've been making some lovely stuff. I was pleased to see them in Fashion For Life and they have a great Halterneck Dress on offer.

Not to be outdone on the matching accessories Lacuna also made the sandals for this outfit. The Santorini Flats come in a big range of colours so you're bound to find a pair to suit your tastes or to match your brand new Halterneck Dress.

The earrings are a stunning pair from Bliensen + MaiTai. What's great about these is the colour change hud and the ability to change different parts of the earrings separately, plus a choice of metal colours. You can match them to all your outfits.

When I saw the teaser pics for this dress from SYSY's on Plurk I was kind of excited. I was desperate for a nice, casual short dress that didn't show off my lady bits to the world. I fell in love with this colour and the pattern is so cute.

I am never going to knock matching shoes for an outfit and SYSY's has delivered with the Sunny Sandals. Although they would just as easily work with any other summery outfit you have lying around in your inventory or are planning to buy soon!

The necklace is another released from Bliensen + MaiTai. Just like the previous earrings you get all those fab colour change features and you can mix and match to your hearts content. The hair, again from Damselfly, is the Zendaya Hair. This style even comes with optional flexi parts for those who are maybe missing their flexi styles or just like a bit more whispy movement in their hair.

We're getting there, I promise... you stuck with me this long, you can do it!

Another halterneck dress for fans of that style. This one is from Stars Fashion.

The Night Enchantress outfit is just that... and outfit. You also get shoes included with this outfit. It comes with a hud to change the colour of the dress, the shoes and to match the skin.

Remember I promised to show you more earrings from Mon Cheri later well they looked perfect with this outfit. These are the Isis earrings and they are gorgeous. I think they have become my new favourites.

The hair is from Damselfly too but with a twist. This is actually their male hair called Jase. It's non rigged so it's resizable and I thought I'd try it on to see how it looked. I actually really liked it. The only thing I changed was the hair base. The base that comes with the hair is definitely for guys, but my Truth hair base is much more feminine and matched almost perfectly with the colour I choose to wear.

The last outfit is from Sky and includes several pieces that they have at Fashion For Life.

The capris and the shirt are from the Passport To Fun set. The waist sweater is an optional extra that fits perfectly with this outfit.

I couldn't resist teaming this outfit with the Jenny Wedges from Hopscotch. The Teal colour are an exclusive for Fashion For Life so make sure you pick up a pair. You will need SLink medium feet for these.

Last, but by no means least is the gorgeous furniture I used for my pictures. These include a brand new release and VIP group gift from Alouette and a piece from the Junk gatcha at The Arcade. You can find all the credits for these below.
