The Fantasy Collective - Oct/Nov 2015 - Part 1

The Fantasy Collective opened on the 22nd and it's the Trick or Treat round! Although I can assure you that everything you're able to get your hands on will definitely be a treat.

Not only do they have designers showing off their amazing creepy themed items but each booth has a pumpkin to click to get a lovely little free gift for Halloween! All you have to do is join The Fantasy Collective Update Group and get to clicking!

Don't forget to check out the regular releases from the designers, my favourite this month being this gorgeous Skull Dress from Dead Dollz

It's only for the Maitreya Lara body and comes in 5 colours. I love the skull cut out of the back of this dress. The front looks plain and slinky but then you see the back and WOW. I never want to take it off!

The shoes are the Wicked Platforms from Garbaggio. These babies have some serious height to them and with a choice of 12 colours you will find one you love. They are made to fit the SLink High, TMP Ouch and Maitreya Lara feet.

Ama is forever creeping me out with the increasingly disturbing creations he's been making this month and Deadly Silence is by far the creepiest.

Included in the pack is a mouth only version, an eye only version or a combo of both. You get the stitches and the mesh eyes and it includes system layers and appliers for Catwa, TMP and Omega. So, so deeply disturbing and the more time you look at it the creepier it looks.

The gown is the Midnight Gown in Black from Luas. There are four colours and the dress and sleeves are separate parts so if you buy more than one colour you can go ahead and mix and match. I had no problem fitting this over my Maitreya Lara with the standard sizes included. I had to go for a size smaller than I'd normally wear so make sure you try a demo.

The pretty horns can be found in the Plastik booth. There are 15 colours to choose from and each colours has six options for different effects that happen around the horns. There are stunning swirls and sparkles so choose from or wear the option that includes them all.

I hate spiders and they creep me out and make me want to crawl inside myself and die. I have real trouble handling them and yet most spider themed inanimate objects don't bother me... except the Spider Friends from Izzie's. They gave me the serious creeps. Included in the pack are either black or brown spiders for several different attachment points including both hands, chest and head. I wore them all together. I have serious regret about this. lol.

The Liaison Collaborative - Fright Night - Part 2

You have a couple of days left to get your butts down to the Fright Night round of The Liaison Collaborative before it closes on the 30th.

United Colours are helping you turn into Queen Arachnia of the Spider People (random Voyager referrence for this who geek out over Star Trek like meeeee.)

It comes in six different metal colours and includes standard sizes and fitmesh for the Maitreya Lata. You can go completely daring with this dress and wear nothing underneath or if you wish to keep a little bit of your modesty in tact then Luxuria have the perfect lingerie to slip underneath it.

The Araneae Set comes comes in six different colours, all with dainty spider webs covering the sheer fabric. Each colour includes standard system layers and appliers for all SLink or Maitreya bodies.

The hair Mehet from Damselfly. The big wired twists of the hair are really unique looking and perfect for Halloween. You can find all the usual hair colour packs that Damselfly release and you can find this colour in the Tuexdo & Fades Pack.

Maybe you are staying in with your special someone this Halloween and you want something naughty to show off. If that's the case then you'll need the Eleon Lingerie from Baiastice.

This colour is the Crimson Lace version but you can choose between 12 lace colours or 8 leather colours. That's a huge range for you to pick a colour from so you are definitely going to be able to find one to suit you. Each set comes in standard sizes and fitmesh for SLink Physique. There's a standard fitmesh version included also but I had a little trouble fitting it over my Maitreya Lara so I slipped into my SLink Physique for this set.

Wayward Halloween 2015 - Part 2

Things get a little bit creepy around Halloween and the Wayward Halloween event has lots of goodies that are going to let you indulge in lots of creepy activities.

Moon Elixir have released their Roguish gacha and you can get yourself pieces of the outfit in several different colours. I made this outfit by combining the Charcoal Pants & Top with the Rare Ripped Hood and Rare Horns.

The Angel Of Hell Wings are the rare win from the Astralia gacha. They come with a hud that allows you to change the colour of the feathers and even have some bloody feathers in there.

White Widow have a gacha full of tattoos and this is the Black Vertigo rare from that machine. There are lots of different pieces to win in three different ink colours so even if you don't get the rare you'll still get some pretty tattoos to wear.

Things can get a little disturbing at Halloween...

I kind of love that I can end up creating something quite disturbing with goodies I got from Wayward Halloween gachas. Disturbing is always fun!

You can get the dress, armlet and sandals from Cloud in the Dawn gacha. The Sandals with socks are a rare win that come with a colour change hud but all the other pieces are commons.

The seriously disturbing cuts and stitches is the Cosmetic Replacement rare win from the Antielle Beauty Clinic gacha. You can also get the Nosejob Bruises in there too along with several other unsettling tattoo and apply pieces.

Wayward Halloween is open until October 31st so grab your friends and go trick or treat for some gacha goodies!

No21 - March/April 2015

Back for another round is No21 and I've got a little sample of things to show you out of all the wonderful things on offer there.

After seeing the Tiki Pea (lol) Bar set from Cheeky Pea my pictures all took on a very summery feel so I look like I'm on my Summer hollibobs!

Blueberry have released a huge range of colours for their Beaded Rompers.

These rompers include a hud that allow you to change the colour of the beads around the neckline and the string around the waist. Some of the rompers are even coloured to match the new sandal release from Reign, which are also at No21 (not shown). As with all new blueberry products not only do you get standard sizes but fitted mesh that works with the Maitreya Lara, SLink Physique or Belleza Venus mesh bodies.

As soon as I saw this shirt from Foxes I had to have it. I mean it's got a unicorn on it!

I'm so using 'Sorry can't, I have to walk my unicorn' as an excuse for not doing anything in the future. RL or SL. The Throw Back Tee comes in plain with different colour options or with several different slogans.

They also have a Throw Back Denim Mini available. I went for the black and it also includes a hud that allows you to change the colour of a little patch of fabric on the side on the skirt. It's a pretty addition that you can use or leave the skirt plain.

I love casual wear that I feel I can laze around in or snaz it up a little and wear it for everyday use. Tee*fy has managed to nail both of these with their latest No21 release.

The shape and the length on the Joan Boyfriend's Tank Top is a winner for me. I went for the plain white wit the Prisms design on because I felt it was the most versatile with the endless colours of the High Waisted Leggings that are on offer too. The leggings include a version that fits snugly under the shirt so you don't have to worry about clipping. There is also a bra available that fits underneath the top if you wanted a little bit more modesty (not shown).

Last up is a new sweater and leggings from Fishy Strawberry.

The Lo Sweater comes in a choice of colours that are with or without the sugar skull design. I personally loved the design so I made grabby hands at it in this pretty Turquoise colour.

I think the Moto Jeggings are my favourite pair of pants that Fishy Strawberry have ever made. You get a choice of different denim shades to choose from and your pack will include a regular version and a curvy version. The picture shows the regular version but I've been running around SL in the curvy version and I cannot take my eyes off my own ass and thighs. The curves are so natural looking, which is sometimes hard to achieve in SL. I'd definitely recommend these and a bonus is the standard sizes fitted over my Maitreya Lara mesh body using the alpha hud.

I mentioned the Tiki Pea Bar Set from Cheeky Pea in the beginning because it definitely ran the theme for this set of pictures. I even ended up building a beach scene at my house to have it out a bit longer. I may have gone over the top but I can't help myself.

It's an awesome set that can be purchased separately or all together to save yourself some lindens. The stools come in a choice of adult or PG animations and the drinks on the bar give you a copy to wear and drink. I've used them in some of the pictures above.

The lights dangling from the roof are included in the Tiki Pea Bar but the string lights hanging down on the sides are a little addition from Tarte. The Ceiling String Lights can also be found at No21 and I couldn't resist adding them to the bar to give it a little bit more sparkle.

Fantasy Garden (NSFW)

I'm loving the increasing quality of the Fantasy themed events in Second Life such as Fantasy Gacha Carnival, We Love Role Play, Fantasy Room and The Fantasy Collective.

I'm just going to focus on Fantasy Gacha Carnival and The Fantasy Collective today but I'm sure you'll see post from the other events on this blog soon. I am enjoying the shove into the limelight these events are getting so lets take a peek at some of the goodies you can get.

First up are some great releases from Haste.

Djinn is a limited edition exclusive for the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The outfit includes a dress, panties, belly chain, collar harness and a crown. You choose the colour of the fabric that you like best and in the pack is a hud that allows you to change the colour of all the metal pieces and gemstones. There will be only 1,000 copies available of this outfit (not of each colour) so there's already a chance you may have missed so... I'd suggest you run fast!

The cute little flowers and chains on the feet you can nab from the Pure Poison gacha by throwing a few lindens it's way. You get a size for the mid and high SLink feet and I ended up with this pretty green colour.

The hair, which is also at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, is the Twig style from Ploom. This is another gacha win and I was lucky enough to get the reds on my first pull but you can share with your girls if you get colours you don't want or need. It includes a little circlet that goes around the back of the hair which has flowers and leaves. You get a hud that allows you to change the colours on these too.

If you'd rather try your luck on a gacha then Haste has you covered for that too.

The Whimsical gacha has a lot of pieces that range from commons to ultra rares. Each piece comes in gold, silver, bronze, black and hematite. The commons are the arm and leg bracers and the belt in each of those metals, the rares are the harness in each of those metals and the ultra rare is the headpiece that includes a hud that allows you to change the colour of the metal instead of having to win each one separately.

So lets take a quick skip over to The Fantasy Collective and check out the goodies there.

My favourite was the Octavia dress from Dead Dollz.

This dress comes in three separate pieces so if you wanted to buy more than one colour you can mix and match. It includes alphas that allow you to wear the shrug, corset and skirt on their own. The corset would be gorgeous with some mesh or even system lingerie. The ruffles on the back of the dress are to die for too, the detail is incredible.

My last grab is from Pixicat at The Fantasy Collective.

This is the Victoria Dress. You purchase the colour of the adorable little belted jacket and you get a hud that allows you to change the colour of the dress underneath to either black or this pretty cream colour. You can even purchase additional colours for the skirt separately in a huge array of colours.

Uber Bohemian

You can tell Spring is definitely on the way as the temperature is slowly starting to creep up to slightly more tolerable levels. So now is the time to start building up your spring/summer wardrobe. Uber will get you kick started on that with their Bohemian themed round.

It opened on the 25th of February so you've got until the 23rd March to get your bohemian loving booty down to the sim and grab what takes your fancy.

So lets leap right into the goodies with this shirt and skirt from Fishy Strawberry.

The Anais Boho Shirt and Rhapsody Skirt are sold separately so you can mix and match between the vast collection of colours that are available for these pieces. I went with the Salmon coloured shirt because it looked so pretty with the Wildflowers skirt which was definitely my favourite pattern available for the skirts. You get a hud that allows you to change the colour of the delicate harness that is included with the shirt. It's an adorable little outfit and is boho and fun without being too over the top bohemian.

The cute little pigtails are the Abby hair from Wasabi Pills. You also get a hud with this so you can pick and choose the colour of the ties keeping your pigtails in. I love a messy stule and it's always nice to have pigtails that aren't sticking out the side of my head.

If you're like me and love a romper then you'll need the Lana V-Neck Romper from Tee*fy.

There's some lovely details on this including the little buttons and loops on the v-neck that look like you haven't bothered to do it up. I think that's an awesome touch that just makes it seem more real to me. I went with the Mint because I'm addicted to the mint colour from Tee*fy. It's too gorgeous to pass up but there are lots of other different pastel and bright colours and patterns to choose from.

I'll never pass up a pair of frilly socks so these Frilly Knee Socks from Atomic bounced into my inventory so fast they ended up with whiplash just like Madonna! I went for the Shell colour because I think any outfit I wear frilly socks with will probably work well with slightly off white but of course feel free to go mad with their colour options.

I'm not usually a massive fan of bohemian style jewellery, it tends to be way too bulky and so many beads and bits that I feel overwhelmed by it all. However the Boho Beaded Necklace and the Boho Earrings from Yummy were a pleasant change. It's not too bulky and doen't feel overly boho but still has a little touch of it. I went for the white and gold option but there is a silver version available for those not into the gold on all the colours they've made.

Baiastice have released an outfit that I wouldn't immediately say is 'boho' in style so if you're not overly into bohemian themed clothing then you can still get an adorable little spring outfit.

The Rocio Cardigan and the Cael High Waist Shorts come together to make this cute little outfit. You can choose to wear it with the Boho Laces Necklace, which is also from Baiastice, but that's optional extra purchase that you can choose to get or not. The cardigan does come with the option of wearing it with or without an attached bra. I guess it depends on if you'd prefer to flash some flesh or flash some lace. It only really shows if you're not wearing the laces necklace. You can always wear the option without the bra and throw on a pretty system layer top underneath if you don't plan on flashing anything at all. As always with Baiastice you have lot of colours to mix and match from so go crazy!

The hair I've used in the last two pictures is from Truth. This is the Delphine style and is also an Uber release. With your usual colour pack you'll also get some optional butterflies or flowers in a front and back attachment. You can mix butterflies and flowers too since both attachments are separate parts. You get a hud that allows you change the colours to match your outfit too. There's a decent long braid that runs down the back and I'm a huge braid fan so this has become one of my favourites.

When I saw League had made a new release for Uber I did a little happy dance because I'd only earlier in the day been talking Cat about how I wanted a nice spring feeling outfit but with the warmth of something you'd get from an autumn outfit because it's still colder than a witches tit out there!

League came to my rescue with their Ananda Outfit. The outfit is all one piece so you can't separate them out but there's a nice twist to it. You buy the colour of the skirt that you like best and included in the pack is a hud that gives you full control over the colour of the shirt part and the belt too. You can mix it up with a new colour every day if you wanted to. They've even included different length options for both the skirt and the sleeves. You can choose from a long skirt that covers the feet or shorter one that shows them and you have a choice of sleeves that come just past the wrist or sleeves that go right down over the hands. You can wear any of these combinations together so long skirt, short sleeves or short shirt, long sleeves, etc.

The Ananda Scarf isn't included in the outfit but is a separate purchase that is made to accompany the outfit. I went for the Teal to match the colour of skirt.

For the last outfit I admit to having drifted away from Uber just a bit...

The incredibly short little Ripped Denim Belted Shorts are from Blueberry. They come in standard sizes but the reason I grabbed them is they also include a version that fits over the Maitreya Lara, the Belleza Venus and the SLink Physique mesh bodies. You have an option of wearing it with or without the belt too.

Once you've finished at Uber then make a mad dash over to No21 because  you only have until the 14th March to be able to grab the Tube Top from Blueberry there. Yes this outfit is a double blueberry bonanza because what else goes better with tiny shorts than a cute little tube top. Whichever colour you pick you get a plain version like this one shown and a version with a print on the front.

While you're over at No21 swing by Lamb and grab the Bunny style. I grabbed myself the gingers pack which, like all the other colour packs, includes an optional flyaway piece to add to the basic style. With or without it's a gorgeous hairstyle.

Before you run off to shop I just wanted to share the stunning furniture I had hiding away in the background of my pics.

The Gipsy Shack is from Kalopsia and it includes the pile of pillows and the round patterned rug that I've dragged outside to show it off. The pillow and rug are soft linked so you can move them around to suit your needs. I was a little bit naughty and using the edit menu I ripped out the front curtains of the shack so it was more like a doorway. In the Delilah Set from Cheeky Pea you can get the Sheer Curtain which I added to the front to make it a little bit different.

The Delilah Set also has this stunning bed with bright and colours pillows and blankets. You have a choice of PG or adult animations as always and of course you can either by the full set which includes the mirror, wine, notebook, rugs and console or each piece separately to get just what you want.

Creepy Cute

I had a quick dash around The Dressing Room Fusion before it changes again on Friday. That means you still have chance to get some goodies from there.

I grabbed a great dress from Cynful, some hair from Mina and a necklace from Kunglers.

You didn't think I was going to just be cute did you? I saw this make up from Ama that is called The Shredder and I knew I had to pair it with something ridiculously cute to make it seem even creepier than it normally would be.

The Society Dress from Cynful, comes in a choice of three colours. I went with the Mint and it also comes with a hud that lets you change the colour of the belt. I love colour change pieces of clothes it makes accessorising so much easier when you can match things.

The necklace is the TDRF #050 Necklace from Kunglers. The copper colour pulled my attention to it so that was the one that found it's way to my inventory.

The hair, which I'm completely in love with because of this awesome hat, is the Carlijn hair from Mina. This is the Pastels Pack and it comes with a hud to let you change the colour of the hat. How cute is this hair?

So Much Blacklace

There are lots of goodies from Blacklace recently that I just wanted to show you.

I recently invested in a SLink Physique body and I'm a little bit in love with how good the appliers look on it. Blacklace does some really great lingerie and pretty much has appliers for every mesh bit you can think of.

The Contessa Harness was the set that most caught my attention.

This is the Black Leather & Lace version and I love the straps that wrap around the body on this. It's sexy and detailed and great for those who are looking for something a bit different from their lingerie. It still has the traditional lacy feel in the bra and panties but takes it a step further with the leather straps.

Hanky Panky was originally a release for the Vintage And Cool Fair (which has unfortunately ended) but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on this sexy set.

I love the red, it's not too intense and is softened with the satiny look of the bra and the sheer fabric of the high waisted garter. I love the level of detail that can be achieved with an applier over the slight blur you get with system layers. Not that the lingerie looks bad on system layers, not at all, but it's crispness on the mesh body appliers is definitely a step up.

I had to grab Cat to pose with me for this incredibly gorgeous corset and panties set.

Bellios comes in lots of colours and Cat fancied the Nude and I was, of course, drawn to the Green. It's a little pop of colour under the black lace of the corset so it isn't too in your face. Pretty and delicate but still a little bit lacy and racy! What more could you want from lingerie?

Last up is a mesh corset so I had to slip back into the system avatar body for this one.

It's the Gloria set in Black Sequins and it comes in standard sizes with the optional and resizeable ruffle on the bottom. It may or may not fit over your mesh body, you can try but I find with mesh corsets that it's better to use the standard avatar shape and the provided alphas. As always with mesh it's probably best if you try a demo before you buy.

It's a past TGIF set so you can still grab this at a bargain price off the Marketplace if you want it.

Look Of The Day 16/11/2012 - Out Of Your League

I know that the mesh release from League has been out for a while but League has always been my favourite store in SL. Not only are her skins amazing (I only wear League skins), but her texturing is out of this world. It always has been. I remember saving for and getting my first League outfit back in 2008. I wore it to death. I've been an avid League shopper ever since.

I love that she's gone into creating mesh. Mesh with her texturing skills was guaranteed to look fantastic and she didn't fail us! I wear this quite regularly and decided today was the day to take a picture. It's pretty much the outfit she used in the promotional pictures, but I'm a sucker for buying whichever colour is on the picture!
