Alouette Set Fairies Loose At The Arcade

Okay so maybe you won't need a net but you will have to try your luck at the gacha when it opens on the 1st of March.

All the little sets come separately of course and each comes with it's own little fairy doll. Perfect for a child's room or for those adults who still love collectables and fairies of all kinds.

The tree house base is the rare part, so fingers crossed!

And of course, being a bit silly, Cat and I decided we also wanted to be fairies. We shrunk down (or rather we scaled up the tree house to a MASSIVE 1200 prims... it still looks gorgeous but don't do it!) and we immersed ourselves into the fairy world.

Until I realised I'd have to learn to fly and I'm not keen on heights.

She's going to throw me off! HELP ME!

Tea Break

Everyone in Second Life survives on coffee!

Well almost everyone, I'm one of the rare few that can't drink coffee but I am a HUGE fan of tea. I'd sit and drink it all day if I could. Now if someone was willing to be my obedient tea butler... any takers?

So when I took my time out yesterday, of course it was with a lovely cup of tea.

The shoes in the picture are absolutely adorable and are the new Naenia shoes from LVLE.

It's hard to find nice casual shoes and these hit the nail right on the head. They come in a bunch of lovely colours and also she has made them for those who have Toddleedoo avatars too.

They fit the SLink flat feet so make sure you try a demo!

Because of all the coffee obsessives in Second Life it's nice to have coffee based décor dotted around because then it always feels like you have fresh coffee to ply them with when they visit!

Serenity Style has released this lovely little console table just for coffee breaks

It comes with all the lovely bits on it such as doughnuts and cupcakes boxes. The shelf and clock are included and of course a coffee maker and some cups.

What else could you need for your coffee break? Apart from the obedient tea butler of course.

Zombie Apocalypse

Everyone I know loves The Walking Dead and I have to be honest I was a little late to the party.

I haven't seen all of season 3 yet and everyone is all excited about season 4! No spoilers! (actually you'd be a bit late since Facebook ruins everything)

However I have been enjoying it a lot so I was all excited when I saw that FATEplay has released some zombie apocalypse themed outfits for cosplay.

Yes I forced Amadeo to be in a picture but admittedly it didn't take much forcing, he's a big fan of the show. In fact he has a zombie avatar he likes to creep me out with. Regularly.

Great costumes from FATEplay and Danai can be worn with or without the cape. It comes in a choice of three colours too. You can mix and match if you want to.

Honestly I really like the Danai outfit without the cape as just a cute outfit. I've been running around in it. Multifunctional!

The Reed outfit is pretty amazing with great detailing on the back (sorry you can't see it, but try the demo!). Although I'm not sure Amadeo is to be trusted with a crossbow.

Sick Day

I've been a sick little Cryssie the past few days. So this has been me, all curled up with my favourite things in my comfy clothes.

Now if I could just get someone to come and make me some tea.

The leggings from Ingenue are adorable and I love the little hearts on them. They were part of the 50L Friday in this colour, but she has many other colours available as a full release at her main store if you missed them.

Alouette has a lovely room divider that lets you fill it with photos. I adore bits of furniture that let me add photos because it makes things feel more personal. I take a lot of pictures for blogging and personal reasons so being able to see them around is a nice feeling.

It's out for The Neighbourhood so is only 200L during Saturday. But Saturday only!

I'm going to go stick my sick head back under the blankets and sip at my chicken soup. Fingers crossed I feel better soon.

Game Over

I do love a good game. I'm currently in an a Grand Theft Auto 5 kind of mood.

Cyclic said this makes me a 14 year old boy. LOL. So bit it! I love stealing cars and running over hookers. It's all the fun.

Anyway... I hate losing. As a kid there was nothing I hated more than seeing 'Game Over' usually because it meant I had to pass the controller along to one of my waiting siblings.

Isn't it amazing how they only want to play the game when you start. What a coincidence!

So when I got this Geek Girl shirt from Bubblefish it made me think of all my geeky moments playing old console games as a kid. I was a Sonic girl. I loved it!

I love all my geeky gamey bits of décor. Second Spaces does some of the most amazing bits of cables and plugs and extension leads.

I refuse to confirm or deny if the monitor got smashed on purpose.

So Inappropriate

I am probably the most inappropriate with my friends. They hear me say some shocking stuff but surprisingly aren't that shocked by it. I'm not sure if that says more about me or them :P

But anyway the lines of what is appropriate definitely gets blurred in SL. Sometimes that shocks me but as the years go on it gets less and less.

I never wear attachments that poke out of my mouth or hang off my tongue because in the general wandering of SL I wonder why you'd be walking around with you tongue hanging out. Is that just me?

However I found a cute card attachment that I had to blog because I thought even if it's not for walking around all day in SL it definitely is super cute for a picture.

And vastly inappropriate Cryssie is born! LOL

I guess more so if you're British (and I am). So I'm being very naughty right now and if this were junior school I'd have my fingers selotaped together and no recess for flicking the V's! (that sounds so bad)

The nail polish is from ZOZ and is the real reason I'm being naughty, I wanted to show it off.

The necklace is from Izzie's and is called KeyHeart. I think it's adorable and it can be found at The Dressing Room Fusion for a bargain price of 70L.

The outfit is from Buttery Toast, which is a very distracting store name and makes me hungry, and is called Love Blooms. You even get the shoes and the socks.

The attachment that started it all is from Fujiwara's World and is part of their Look At My Card gatcha. I got Queen of Hearts. YAY!

I'm sharing the furniture I use now too, since our amazing SL furniture creators need some blog love too.

I think the piano from Serenity Style is so cute. It's a bit more fun than a normal wooden piano and probably something I'd pick for my RL house if I had space.

The memories shelf is also from Serenity Style and is part of their gatcha. I was glad to get the blue, it suited the rest of the room.

KittyCats Are Out Of The World

Okay so Julia Merosi, a good friend of mine, has bullied me into being an auctioneer of KittyCats at the Too Adorable Sim.

She's built me a lovely outer space themed auction area and she's going to babysit me through my first auction since I'm crapping my pants!

Silk And Lace At Baiastice

I am a big fan of lingerie. In fact I've been seen wandering the grid it for no reason other than I want to.

I'm sure people think I'm a very, very naughty girl.

I'm totally loving the new range from Baiastice.

The delightfully lacy Cynzya is all kinds of sexy and revealing, but still leaves a little bit to the imagination.

There is no alpha for this because the lingerie is see through, so a demo is a must! However saying that, I'd say it's definitely worth a shape tweak should you need it.

The gorgeous Lena Lace lingerie is also another that might need a little shape tweak but will be all kinds of worth it.

The ruffles on the panties are simply stunning. It comes with a no ruffle option too for those wanting something a bit sleeker, but really the ruffles are to die for.

This is the Lena Silk lingerie so I can really show you those gorgeous ruffles.

And last up we have the Orly lingerie in lace. This comes in a sheer or non sheer option.

The sheer may require some shape tweaking, but the non sheer comes with an alpha like usual mesh.

I hope you like, I seriously can't take this collection off, it's truly spectacular and shows how far we've come in Second Life with mesh.

Not content with just showing you delicious lingerie I also wanted to show you some of the furniture I've picked up recently.

The rugs are the cutest and are a prize for finishing Mingle from Scarlet Creative. It also comes with the chair and cushion.

The wall quote from Commoner can also be picked up for finishing Mingle.

My new favourite piece of décor is the Love sign from Alouette on the floor there. It's a VIP gift for all those in their VIP group. If you're not in the group, I suggest you join as they give out cute little gifties and store credit quite regularly.

Valentine's Day is almost upon us and you might be looking for something a little sexy to impress your date!

Collabor88 - February

The theme of this months Collabor88 is Supernova.

Naturally I was expecting lots of weird colours and space themed objects. They did not disappoint.

Each designer also got to bring a 'date' to Collabor88 this month so there is SO MUCH stuff available this round.

As soon as I saw the Nova Tribe jacket and pants from ISON the first thing that came to mind was Meredith Vickers (Charlize Theron) from Prometheus.

Of course I had to run with the space feel in all my pictures for this round.

I love the back of the jacket, so I had to show it to you. The necklace is a gorgeous collar style necklace and is also from ISON.

Yummy went all out with the space feel of this round and created an absolutely stunning planets charm necklace and earrings.

I can't actually voice how in love with this I am. I am utterly obsessed with astronomy and this makes me happy in all of my silly, geeky places. I need this in my real life!

The earrings change texture to match any of the charms on the necklace. I could gush all day about this.

But moving on before this blog post gets any longer than it should be... the hair in the picture is from Clawtooth, Lady Stardust, and is one of two available at Collabor88. You'll see the other in little bit. Always love a side swept hair as it gives me a chance to show off some earrings, especially these ones!

Celoe and Maitreya teamed up for this round to bring us a gorgeous dress and boots.

The dress comes in an array of difficult to choose from colours. Always with the choosing!

The boots come in several types including croc skin, snake skin and patent. I went with the patent blue because the vivid colour of them is incredibly striking.

Pilot took a step away from the normal and delivered us a gorgeous Galatic Necklace and ring.

The texture on these reminds me of the galaxies trapped in marbles at the end of Men In Black. I am all powerful with galaxies trapped in my ring and necklace!

Okay maybe not, but they are still beautiful pieces. I went with the green because it's my favourite but there are others to choose from and they come in both gold and silver.

The hair is the Second offering from Clawtooth, Moonage Daydream. It's a longer version of the other hair, but sometimes a girl needs a short hair and sometimes she needs a long one.

The dress and boots are from Baiastice and are both gorgeous.

The Danika Dress has adorable shoulder fastenings that reminds me of dungarees when I was a kid and comes in so many colours it will make your head spin.

The Lunar Ankle boots are just as bad and it's going to take you a while to pick or force you to fatpack!

The boots come in a rigged or on rigged version for those who prefer non rigged boots.

Truth teamed up with Glam Affair to bring us a hair with a headband.

The textures on the headband are supernova coloured and almost touch on hippy as well as your standard normal colours.

The necklaces are from Maxi Gossamer and are Nova Dream Moon. I decided to wear the long and short together because I love the shape and style of the pendant on this one. The stone in the middle looks like a pearly moon.

Go and look there is SO much more stuff that I haven't had chance to cover to you have to go and experience it all for yourself!

The Chapter Four Cowgirl

The Chapter Four has been opened for a few days but I hopped over there and grabbed a couple of things.

As soon as I got home and started unpacking and trying bits on I realised I had lots of cowgirl looking pieces.

So of course a cowgirl picture had to happen.

The boots are from Coco and are part of their gatcha at The Chapter Four. I ended up with the blue and I was quite pleased with that. They have lots of other colours in there too.

The shirt if from Deadwool. I've only recently discovered Deadwool but I'm really liking their stuff. This is just part of the regular sale items for The Chapter Four so no chancing your luck, just pick the colour you love.

All Dressed Up

Valentine's Day is sneaking up on us and lots of creators are getting in the romance mood and releases beautiful things for what is supposed to be the most romantic of days.

Whether you're going out on a date with the someone you'd known for years, a new flame or just hanging out with some friends then you're going to want to look your best!

Erratic have released a short cocktail dress, the Estelle Panel Dress. Perfect for any date or party you might be attending!

The shoes are also a new release from Erratic and require SLink medium feet to wear them. They are a gorgeous pair of shoes and both the shoes and dress come in an array of colours.

Maybe you want something a bit more formal?

Zaara has you covered with the gorgeous Suhina Sequined Gown. The colours available are stunning I suggest you demo all the colours before you make a choice (even if the demo colour isn't your size, just try it to see the gorgeous detail)

Glow Designs has released pink and red Glitter Pumps at the Cosmopolitan Sales Room.

Little Red Riding Hood

The theme for Enchantment is Little Red Riding Hood.

I remember it being one of my favourite fairy tales as I was growing up.

I like that while there is some obvious role play based creations at Enchantment that there are also some modern takes on Little Red Riding Hood.

I was rather taken by the dress and hooded cardigan from Beetlebones.

I went for the red cardigan because it seemed the most in theme to me, but can still be worn as an everyday outfit. I love the puffy feel to the dress and how the cardigan sits over it. Gorgeous stuff!

Although I'd be careful tromping through the forest. I bumped into the Big Bad Wolf.

Okay so he's not so big and bad, he's really just a big puppy dog!

FaMESHed - February

February brings us a new round of FaMESHed and there's some lovely stuff on offer, including my favourite of all the things... shoes!

Gos has two new shoes available at FaMESHed. Carrie and Samantha.

Both are in patent black and come with the new stockings feature that allow you to wear stockings with the two newest releases.

Also available at FaMESHed at the Medusa shoes from LaRoo.

These come with a skin match system, so no more fiddling around matching skin colours. I'm glad all shoes are heading that way. I love not having to fuss.

The dress is from Baiastice and is a gorgeous satin looking dress. It comes in a shirt or no shirt option and has a colour change hud. I loved the aquamarine.

The necklace is from Maxi Gossamer and comes with a long or short version. Also at this round of FaMESHed Maxi has included a transfer version of the necklace so you get two for the price of one and you get to send it to someone you like, or split it with a friend. Perfect Valentines gift as you'll end up with matching necklaces.

And last up I grabbed the gorgeous colour change jacket from Mutresse. You can change the individual pieces of the jacket separate so there is an endless amount of combinations of colours to play with.

The Surreal Complex

The Surreal Complex opened today and they seem to have a talent in finding designers that bring the surreal to life.

There are three different categories... Art, Dreams and Fairy Tales.

The Fairy Tale category is probably my favourite and I got to play around with poses and being generally silly in some of them.

The Fairy Dreams glass coffins meant I had no choice but to throw on a snow white costume and munch on that apple. After a bit of digging I hadn't found anything I loved as a costume and decided to just Snow White it up a bit with things from my inventory...

Things got a bit silly and she got a little bit hipster and well it stuck. Of course Valentine had to join in.

Every hipster Snow White needs her hipster Prince to come wake her up.

There are solo pose coffins available too, but I loved the couple pose ones and they caused much giggling for the afternoon.

Not content with just being hipster Snow White we had to take a step further and being hipster Cinderella and Prince Charming.

This pose prop is from Little Moments and is called Dear Diary...

It comes with pillow and the shoe and the shoe for the hand. It's a lovely prop and we also had a lot of fun with this one. One of the rare times you'll see me blonde. Savour it!

I haven't seen Frozen yet and everyone keeps talking about it. I really want to see it, but I'll be waiting for the DVD release now. I love Disney movies and poses inspired by them are wonderful.

Fly Lily made a set of poses inspired by Frozen. This one is from Elsa Set 1 and comes with the big snowflake in the hand.

Fly Lily has also made a set of poses inspired by The Little Mermaid called Ariel.

The Little Mermaid is my favourite Disney movie so of course I had to mermaid up for this picture.

The pose set comes with mesh tails and tops on a system layer. They fit most shapes, but if not there is a shape included in the set. You can always tweak your own to make it fit better for some mermaid based RP!

And last for this post, but definitely not least is a dress from Inaras. She has four Disney Princess themed dresses in a gatcha and this one is inspired by Belle from Beauty And The Beast.

Don't hesitate in going to have a peek since it's open from today for a whole month!
