The Liaison Collaborative - October 2014

It's designers choice at this month's TLC and that means a vast plethora of goodies that have no theme and basically was whatever tickled the designers fancy.

Usually themed events create a nice synchronicity between designers and you end up with a great choice of items that work well together. With this being designer choice I expected much less synchronicity between the items available but surprisingly it wasn't the case.

Let's jump right in and check out the goodies!

Rebel Hope not only released a gorgeous dress but two sets of overknee boots.

The Lia Dress is a one shoulder dress and I fully admit to absolutely loving the cut out design down the side of it. I went for the Pewter colour, which was browner than I would have expected for pewter, but it's such a nice colour I really don't care what it's called!

The Destiny Mesh Thigh Boots have a matching pewter colour and I'll never turn down a pair of thigh highs. The obsession gets stronger with each new pair I get. These are a lovely pair with slits at the back which gives the piece over the thigh a slightly more flared look.

The Angela hair is from Damselfly and is a lovely style. My swede is a bit hit and miss with Damselfly hair because I think I have a weird shaped head. I'm so glad this one looked good on me because when I saw the ad I went 'I want thaaaaaat'. So yay for the fitting! Yes, okay, I could mod my head but I'm lazy and frankly any excuse for me to spend less money on hair is a good thing as I'm broke enough as it is! LOL

I had to show you this Priestess Make Up from Wicked Peach. I love, love, looove the cat eye eyeliner flick on these. There are two packs with lots of different eyeshadow colours. The dots are part of the make up too and I think even though it would fit right in for a fantasy themed costume or some cosplay I would totally wear this around with an everyday outfit. it's too pretty not to.

If you're not a plain colours kind of person then Rebel Hope also released a different colour set of the earlier boots I showed you. These ones are called the Savanah Mesh Thigh Boots and as you can imagine they come in an array of animal prints.

Not usually my thing but the texturing on these is too good not to wear them. I went for a fairly neutral Zebra print but if you're braver than me there is a zoo's worth of animal prints to choose from!

The seriously sexy couch/bed you see in the background there is from Scarlet Creative. It's called Du Macaron and the Citron just shouted at me to be rezzed by there are two other brighter colours to choose from too. It comes with the canopy and is deliciously detailed and textured. Stunning piece of furniture.

Haste are back at The Liaison Collaborative with a great little Cheeky Dress.

You buy the colour of skirt that takes your fancy and then you get a lovely hud that lets you adjust the colour of the separate top, the metal and the straps. I went for green on green because I'm a touch OCD about colours matching and because it all looked so good with the lovely brown I chose for the straps.

Haste just keeps getting better and better with their releases. I can't wait to see what else they come up with for us.

I mentioned the amazing furniture from Scarlet Creative earlier but I can't leave this post without mentioning the Woodlands Hot Tub from Pixel Mode Home. You get a high rez texure version for those with computers that can handle it, or a lower rez texture version for those of you on computers that struggle with SL a little bit. This is the high rez and honestly it's one of the nicest textured pieces of furniture I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It's packed with animations for singles and couples and you get a choice of Adult or PG.

The little lights you see peeking out of the background there are from Convair. The light perched on the back of the hot tub is the Pipe Lamp and the one on the wall is the Wall Pipe Lamp. Both light up with a click and are incredibly unique. Not my usual style of choice but these are too well made to pass up.

I'll be back in a few posts to share more TLC with you. So until then...

Happy Shopping!
