FaMESHed - Jan 2015

FaMESHed has been open for a while now so the crowds have died down and now is the time to get your butts down there to grab some goodies.

Emery have released a very pretty skirt and sweater that I couldn't resist.

The Paz Knit Sweater and Zoe Leopard Skirt are sold as separate pieces in several colours so you can mix and match. Although I find I often end up going for a classic black as it works with so many other things.

The Rhino Ankle Boots from Baiastice looked great with this outfit. If I was feeling a bit smarter I'd have worn some nice warm tights before wandering out in the snow to play with the wildlife!

The cute little shack in the background is from Cheeky Pea.

The Petit Kanina Cabin includes the deck so you can place it over water if you wish. The snow on the roof is included and also removable. What I really like about this adorable little house is that while it's small it still has lots of room and they've even included the shadow maps for the walls so you can add your own textures for wallpaper or anything else you please.

If you wanted something a bit bigger, but still warm and cozy then Alouette have released the The Alpine Hideaway

Big enough for all your furniture and knick knacks for the perfect holiday home or it would work great for a club house on a communal sim. The snow is also removable so this house works for all seasons.

Oneword - Dream - Part 2

Oneword is about to come to an end so I wanted to sneak in a couple of poses that are on offer before you miss out.

Both Bang and Rack Poses have released adorable couple poses for all your winter picture needs.

Bang have released As If A Dream. It will require pair of avatars with a decent height difference so I had to grab Valentine to pose with me. He's so bloody tall that he occasionally comes in handy!

Rack Poses have released Dream. Again is a pose that works best with a decent height difference but also works with shorter avatars because the smaller of the two hangs off the larger.

Uber Opulence

Uber is back and this round is full of all the opulence you could hope for. So let's jump right in and take a look at some of the goodies on offer.

Baiastice released my favourite piece for this round with their Mida Dress.

I adore the style on this dress. It's like a short cocktail dress with a full length jacket over the top. Of course the sparkly versions made me jump up and down with grabby hands but if you're a little more conservative then there are non sparkly colours too.

The Minerva hair, with the gem that rests on your forehead, is from Truth. All the usual colour packs are available and you can wear the hair with or without the gem which also has a colour change hud.

Ison brought some classy opulence with their shirt and skirt combo.

I feel all kinds of classy in this outfit. The Cinched Sweater and Metallic Lace Skirt are sold separately in lots of different colours so you can mix and match them or wear the same colours and get more of a dress like feel. The rich cobalt colour called out to me but go with whatever make your insides tingle!

If you wanted to get your sexy on then grab yourself a Pontivy Dress from Hucci

I really like the rows of diamonds around the bust area because they add something a bit different to the dress. Hucci always has a great choice of colours too.

The furniture set is from Cheeky Pea

The Priyanka Set has gorgeous, rich colours and the day bed comes with a PG or adult version. The drawers even open and close on the chest of drawers. The detail is incredible and the window shade (or wall hanging as I've used it) is colour change too.

Yearbook Picture 2015

Strawberry Singh has started doing Monday Meme's again and this Monday she did the Yearbook Smile Challenge.

Basically you have to take a picture of your avatar smiling like they are posing for a yearbook picture. Yearbooks aren't a thing in the UK but we do have photo day where your parents get to buy a bad, overpriced picture of you against a background of fake books!

I had fun taking this pic. I used the AnyPose Expression Hud to make my avatar smile and then photoshopped a few images together so my eyes were less closed. I think it's best to just take a few pics and fiddle around until you have a picture you like the look of!

Extra Special No21

My favourite pieces from this round were definitely from Tres Blah

The Ione Romper and Lame Cropped Jacket are gorgeous. They are made to fit together and you can mix and match the colours. I like that it's a romper instead of being another short peplum dress because it makes it a bit different from the others I have in my inventory.

I teamed it with these awesome Julliette Boots from Reign. Between Tres Blah and Reign releasing so many great pieces recently they are emptying my purse of all my lindens!

Another store who recently got my attention is Spirit Store. I followed them on Flickr and saw all these awesome things they were making that I was missing out on.

The Terty Ripped Top and Terty Skinny Jeans come in a range of mix and match colours. They only have on special colour out as an exclusive and these aren't it so even if you do miss it at No21 then you can find these in the main store.

The hair, which comes with the hat, is Bitter from Little Bones. I've become a huge Little Bones fan and you really need to get in their VIP group because I don't think I've ever had so many gifts from a creator as I have from that group.

If you wanted to get a little silly then throw a few lindens into the Olive gatcha and get yourself a Unicorn Hoodie.

These are so adorable and it really doesn't matter which colour you get because they are all super adorable. The Harriet hair from Truth also fit under almost perfectly with no editing (these was a tiny bit of clipping but nothing you'd really be bothered by).

The gorgeous yoga goodies you see in the background are from Cheeky Pea

These are stunning and the colours will blow you away. Perfect for those of you who love yoga and fitness in general. I especially like the rolled mats on the wall rack because the level of detail on them is amazing.

Oneword - Dream

Have you missed me?

I've been moving in RL and things have been beyond hectic but I wanted to make sure you didn't miss out on the brand new round of Oneword. The theme this round is Dream and it runs until the 15th of January.

If you wanted something floaty and ethereal then Peqe has released a full length dress with open sides.

The Areth Gown is really pretty and I love the open sides on this dress. It's fairly exposing so you might want to wear something underneath if you wanted to swish around in public with this. Unless you wanted to expose your lady bits then go for it!

The room with the clouds is from Mien Poses. It's a cute little box with handing clouds that you can edit, tint or remove. It also includes lots of poses that are in, on and around the hanging clouds.

Cae will keep the nightmares away with their Dream Catcher jewellery set. You can purchase the earrings and necklace separately or together as a set.

The adorable cloud nails you can grab from Bella Elephante. The set come with several dream inspired styles but these clouds were the cutest to me.

If you want some seriously stunning make up then The Wicked Peach has released the Dreams set. The colours and the style on these is so pretty that you won't want to take them off.

Moon Amore has a very pretty little Dreams Dress at Oneword.

You have a choice of two different colour packs or a fatpack that includes all the colours. The top and skirt part of the dress changes separately so you can max and match the colours to your hearts content. I did have a little bit of trouble with the sizing on this dress. I'm usually a standard size medium but I had to wear the Extra Large to get it to go anywhere near me. So while the dress the gorgeous I recommend that you definitely try a demo to make sure it will fit you.

The necklace you nab from Altair. This is the Daydream Necklace in blue but there are other colours available. I've not heard of the brand Altair before but this necklace is definitely worth a trip to their main store to see what else they have on offer.

Get yourself an adorable little Hero Mouse from Geek. It's too cute not to have one to carry around!

Not only have they released the Hero Mouse for your to have a pocket sized friend but if you ever wanted to be part cloud then you can.

The Cloud Hug and the Dream Maker Scepter can turn you into the cloud based fairy you've always wanted to be.

The pose you can get from Elephante Poses and is part of the tree sketch in the background. The Dream About Flying pose prop has lots of other great poses in too but I really like that it's a sketch. It's something a bit different from your usual pose prop.

Pretty much all the furniture available at Oneword Dream is different from usual. You can get yourself some pretty out there handsy decor from Lost Junction. You can resize these to any size that takes your fancy. The bigger the creepier to be honest!

The cloud shelf is the I Wish Shelf from Attic. You have a choice of blue or pink in a plugged or unplugged version. It's an adorable little shelf that would work wonderfully in a bedroom or great for a kids room too.

I'm a big fan of Agathes Dreamy Armchair and it's from 22769. I like that it works for this round because it definitely has a dreamy feel, especially with the poses in it, but it will also work great as furniture for your everyday life too.

I'll have some more bits soon! Don't forget that Oneword doesn't run for a month anymore but only for two weeks so on the 15th it closes!

The Liaison Collaborative - Dec 2014 - Part 2

Happy New Year!

I hope your new year celebrations were fun and safe and we wave goodbye to 2014 and say a big, bright HELLO to 2015.

Although maybe not a complete goodbye because the Dec 2014 round of The Liaison Collaborative is still open and I still have a few more things to show you.

22769 have made some lovely things for your winter sim. Somewhere cozy to cuddle and something warm to fill your stomach!

The Cozy Outdoor Nook is adorable. Although a little weird at first glance, it almost looks like it's about to fall over, it has some great poses inside for singles and couples. There are versions with and without snow and ice since you might not have a snowy sim. Either way if you're looking for somewhere cute to cuddle or even just relax by yourself then grab yourself this nook.

If you're anything like me then relaxing of any kind involves something yummy to put in your belly.

The Waffle Cart is also from 22769. Try your luck at their gatcha to win the pieces for this waffle cart. It has everything you need to have your own waffle stand or even just cute waffle bits for your kitchen. Good luck!

When you're in the gatcha garden don't forget the Exposeur Winter Penguin Gatcha so you can also have some adorable little penguins to dot around your sim, give to your friends or wear them on your shoulders.

It's a gorgeous looking warm, wooly textured dress with a pretty little surprise on the back. You're going to need one of these for your inventory so go grab one quick before the event closes on the 15th January.
