Mystic Realms Faire 2014 - Part 1

The Mystic Realms Fair 2014 is open for your shopping pleasure! Be warned the sims have a script limit so if you go there dressed to the nines then you will be booted. Let's be good SLers and deprim, demesh and rock up there bald and duck waddling in your favourite system underwear. I know you still have some...

So if you're going to duck waddle it has to be for some amazing stuff right? Well you won't be disappointed!

Zaara has a beautiful outfit for you. The Chandi Lehenga outfit comes in separate pieces so you can mix and match colours if you so wish.

It's stunningly well made and the textures are amazing. I was blown away at how pretty this outfit is. Lots of detail and gorgeous colours. The Royal Command hair you can grab from Exile. It comes with the optional crown. Optional is always good since it's a great hair for normal wear too.

Velvet Whip also have some new releases for The Mystic Realm Faire.

I love the sleeves on the Fjona Tunic and how they come down to cover the hands. The tunic also comes with the leggings to wear underneath on a system layer. But feel free to wear, or not wear, whatever you want underneath it.

The crown is also from Velvet Whip. This one is the Tribal Tiara in Ice colour. You shouldn't have any problems fitting this because the crown pierces right into the skull so you can wear this as close or as far from your head as you'd like.

The staff is from Cila and is called The Key To My Heart. This one is the gold version and has an option to change the heart piece at the top to pink instead of solid gold.

The hair you can nab from Mina. This is the Simone style and I decided instead of my usual reds to go with the dark blondes for this picture. Whichever colour pack takes your fancy it's a great style that can be used for everyday wear too.

Truth has some great new hair for the event too.

This is the Thalia style and comes with an optional crown. There are some pretty awesome curls down the back of this style and it looks just as good without the crown.

The collar is from Peqe and is one of the colour options of the Gorget Collar range. This is the Gold/Onyx version. It's a rigged mesh collar is the usual standard sizes but also includes a non rigged version for those of you who would prefer to resize it to fit, especially if your avatar isn't a standard size.

Also from Peqe is the Mystic Flow dress

The Green shouted out to me that it needed to be mine and it's a lovely shape with a delightful flowing train at the back. Not too long, but just enough to be pretty and floaty. I felt a little bit like a real life Statue Of Liberty in this outfit! lol

FaMESHed - October 2014

Hey all, I know I'm running a little late with FaMESHed this month but it's been a bit of a frantic week. My poor little Lemmiwinks is sick and I've been running around taking care of her and trips back and forth the vet while still being sick myself.

But how could I not look after something with this face... poor little bugger. She needs lots of loving and special care now. If you're on my Plurk you've probably seen lots of updates about her from me. (feel free to add me if you aren't already on there).

But back onto the reason you came here. FaMESHed!

Lots of lovely goodies in this round but the creator who got me most excited was definitely Coco.

I'm totally in love with the Shawl Collar Coat and Tailored Pants. You can grab the female version from FaMESHed where you also have the option to get the Felt Fedora Hat and the male version is at The Mens Dept.

Both have the arm in the pants pocket shape and a glove for your exposed hand. There are different colour choices but it seems that me, Ama, Cat and Val all have very similar tastes!

The hair is from Wasabi Pills and is called Roberta. Just so there is full disclosure on this post and so I'm not tricking anyone the hair DOES NOT fit under the Felt Fedora Hat from Coco. I did some modding in photoshop (since you can't mod rigged mesh hair like you could prim hair).

Mutresse always released great stuff for FaMESHed and this round they have brought us the Malena Tio Shirt and the Nikita Leggings.

As always they come with the full colour pack hud and it lets you change pieces of the shirt and leggings individually to really create your very own perfectly coloured outfit.

I really like the zip details on the sides of the shirt and on the leggings. This is a really pretty set and perfect for autumn now the weather really has changed.

I'm not usually a lover of jackets that don't come with a shirt that fits underneath already or one that doesn't already have a built in shirt but when I demo'd the Liberia Bomber Jacket from Emery I had to have it. I even went with the Petrol colour the demo came in because once I tried it on I was hooked.

It fits nicely over the top of other emery products so I pulled out my favourite Emery Midi Skirt to go underneath it and delved really deep into my inventory to find a system top. It's been a while but this Truffle Top from Snatch definitely still works.

Last up is a truly stunning autumn dress from Baiastice that just screams the colours of this season.

Of course I had to go with the Ombre Brown/Orange version of the Iggy dress. I don't think I've seen anything this autumnal for a while. Gorgeous colours that caught my eye the second I saw it. If you'd prefer something brighter there are other colour options to choose from that might suit your tastes.

To go with it Baiastice have released the Diamonsd Clutch. The Gold looked lovely with the brown and orange of the Iggy Dress but as always there are more colours than you can shake a stick at. Go find one that you fall in love with.

The lovely deck and furniture that I used are from Cheeky Pea.

You can find the Stargazer Landing Set at FaMESHed where you can buy the pieces separately or all together a pack. The deck has long legs for you to put it in water or on land and there are adult or PG versions of the furniture.

Candy Fair 2014 - Part 1

Candy Fair 2014 is underway and is two sims packed fully of ooey, gooey, yummy, scrummy delights!

So grab a spoon, let's dive right in!

I think my favourite things from Candy Fair 2014 are the new pose boxes from Exposeur. There's a candy filled room of wonder and your very own candy store. Both of which are sure to be great and fantastic for you dentist's income this year.

Candy Colours is filled with chewy hard gums and hanging bubble gum balls.

So many colours. It reminds me of something you might stumble upon if you got to walk around Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. You get lots of poses too and they are all fully adjustable to make sure you're fitting perfectly in there.

If you're wondering what has taken residence on my head... that would be Jeff. Jeff is a pink candy floss sheep I think. He sure looks like a sheep to me. He's super cute and keeps my head toasty warm. You can grab some of these from the Half Deer Cloudsugar Hat gatcha. This is Pink Candy Hearts but there are lots of others.

The Maiden Dress is from Pixicat. This isn't at Candy Fair but you can find them at The Gathering Gatcha Event which is open until the 15th October so you still have a few days to run down there and grab them.

Now as much as I love candy and chocolate it's not 100% where my heart lies and I think Plethora was thinking about me when they made this...

Yes, that is exactly what it looks like. You can daydream about bacon too if you grab the Sweet Idea though bubble in Bacon. Mmmmm bacon...

It will hide in the background until someone mentions bacon and then you'll be off in your very own bacon fantasy land. Yup, it reacts to your typing and appears when the word 'bacon' is mentioned in main chat.

If a room filled with candy isn't for you then maybe a trip down to the SugarBowl would be more your thing.

This is the second room from Exposeur and is a super pretty ice-cream and candy shop. Lots of poses that are in front and behind the counter so you could even indulge in a little roleplay with this if you really wanted to.

If you want to pop some gum then Plethora has you covered. This adorable little popping gum actually blows up and then makes a pop sound. It does it every few seconds or so, so just like if you were chewing actual bubble gum. How cute is that?!

The Nuno Outfit is from Haste and is another gatcha goody you can grab from The Gathering. This is the Mint and you get a hud that lets you change the colour of the metal on belt. They are separate pieces so if you wanted to you can play a few times and mix and match colours.

After all that candy you might want to snuggle some fruit? I'd be more than happy to snuggle fruit if it always looked this cute.

The adorable little Fruit Cushion is from Sway's. This is the Orange and they are in the gatcha garden in the middle of The Candy Fair sims. It's texture change so it can be just an orange or so it can have this adorable little face on it. Who wouldn't want an adorable face on their fruit?

The necklace is in the BananaN gatcha. I was lucky enough to get the Silver Lamb rare so I hope you get the ones you want too!

The furniture set is the Sweet Living Room Set from Sway's

This is the Bubblegum version and is all pretty bubble gum colours and has little bubblegums all over the rug. I rezzed out a few more of the Fruit Cushions because they were too cute not to. You can also try your luck with the Heart Candy Pouf gatcha. They look like Love Hearts sweets and even have the adorable little sayings on them just like the sweets. This one says 'love you' and is a rare but there are others to chance your luck at too!

50 Shades Of Uber

Uber is getting frisky with their new round that has a 50 Shades Of Grey themed.

I'm the first to admit that 50 Shades Of Grey made me pull lots of unimpressed faces. I know the book is a big hitter with a lot of you out there but it just didn't do it for me. However I was very impressed with the quality of products that the creators delivered for this round. Just proves that SL creators have the talent to take something I find unimpressive and make it into something awesome!

I applaud all of you. Now onto those goodies...

Erratic are getting feisty with their brand new bodysuit and blindfold.

The Skye bodysuit comes in several colours and also a sheer version if you want to be a little bit extra naughty. You can also grab the matching Chris blindfold while you are there. The shape on this bodysuit is lovely and I love that it works as lingerie or if you wanted to it could easily be a swimsuit. You can use it to suit your needs. The blindfold is unrigged so you can move and resize it to make sure it fits your head.

Just sneaking out the edge of the picture is these gorgeous shoes from Pure Poison

The Beatrix Sandals come in a black and silver version or black and gold version. You get both in the pack so you don't have to choose. You will need the SLink high feet for these so make sure you try before you buy!

If you're more of a Stiletto girl, or guy, then maybe the Amelia stilettos are more your style.

These are also from Pure Poison, who has been making some amazing shoes recently. The lacing detail on the front is super pretty. This pair also need the SLink high feet!

Hucci have a cute dress for a really bargain price.

The Baudette Dress is a gorgeous shape. The ass is incredible, I'm obsessed with how my ass looks in mesh clothing (lol), and you get a large choice of colours. For the price you can probably pick more than one.

The hair is from Truth and is called Vixen. You have the option to wear it with or without the mask which comes with a colour change hud. As usually it's in the hair hud so just click along an extra button to find the mask colours.

Another awesome dress you can grab from Uber is the Elena Dress from Baiastice.

I really took to the gold colour but lots of choice for you. You have the option to wear this dress with or without the bra piece underneath. If you want to be a bit more risqué then feel free to run around baring it all! You might have your own bra to wear underneath or maybe a nipple cover. Whatever takes your fancy!

The Lea hair, which is also at Uber, is from Wasabi Pills. I really like the brushed back style and this one isn't too far back on my head, which sometimes happens with styles without a fringe. I think I'll be wearing this one a lot.

Last up is Vintage Vest Dress from Zenith.

The Royal colour called out to me and found it's way into my inventory. It's called a dress but personally I think it wears more like a corset so it's currently residing in my lingerie folder but lets face it, this is SL, you can wear this pieces as a dress or a corset. It's totally your choice!

Just In Time For Kustom9

I almost missed Kustom9 this month! It's been a busy month and I've been sick but I'm trying to make sure I catch up on all my events. It closes on the 10th of October so you have 5 days to get your butt down there if you haven't already.

My favourite piece is a jacket from Fishy Strawberry.

The Ducato Leather Jacket comes with the option of wearing it with or without the tank. You also get a hud so you can change the colour of the tank to suit your mood. I went with the pink because it matched so well with the awesome Sid hair from Mina.

You can grab this hair in one of the new pastels colours. They look great no matter what the style and I see SO many people in SL rocking the pastel shades so this is a great addition to the Mina colours.

The back pack you can try you luck at grabbing from the Layover Graphicz Back Pack gatcha. I got the Only You version. Good luck for getting the one you want!

MotiAme always make great pieces for Kustom9 and this round they've brought even more greatness for your inventory!

The Sailor Sweater and Simple Flared Skirt are great for those casual days where you just want to throw on a comfy outfit and veg out.

It's No21 time!

So I'm pretty new to No21 and this is the first time I've shopped the event. The concept is it opens on the 21st of the month, has 21 designers and lasts for 21 days.

That means you have just over a week before the event ends on the 11th October (might be the 12th but to be on the safe side just go now! lol)

If you're new to No21, like me, then hopefully you'll spot something you like. The Celeste Dress from Teefy caught my eye.

I love that the straps and the detailing around the bust is in a different colour. I went with the classic colour but there are also options where the straps are the same colour as the dress. Obviously go with what takes your fancy.

That little green strap poking out there belongs to the Bearnotes Backpack from Miseria.

How cute is that? It's all in the gatcha and I ended up with the Leafy colour. I was happy with that colour because it was the one I wanted. Lucky me! I often find backpack style backs don't really fit my avatar well but this one fitted lovely and over the top of the clothes I was wearing.

The Chloe Autumn Set can also be found at No21. What I really liked about this, aside from the lovely autumnal tones, is that this set would work inside or outside. I like versatility and this definitely has it.

The Liaison Collaborative - September - Part 2

So we've sneaked into October and that means that the September round of The Liaison Collaborative will be closing on October 10th. So you've got just over a week to go and grab some of the bits you wanted to get your mitts on before the new round begins.

I showed you some of furniture and home décor available in my first post so let's take a look at some of the fashion and poses you can get there too.

Fishy Strawberry have a great pair of Metallic Panel Leggings and a matching Technofuture Bralette.

You can get a choice of four different metal colours and they all look futuristic and fantastic. I really love the ass on the leggings, I could barely stop staring at it and I'm guessing others will be staring too! lol

The necklace is part of a set from Izzie's. You can find the Spike Jewelry in lots of different colour combinations and you get both a necklace and earrings. It's a really pretty set that you could wear everyday if you wanted too but still has a nice techno feel to it.

Eudora3D have released some shoes for The Liaison Collaborative and the Electric Dreams wedges come with a choice of a normal plastic looking option or if you're feeling like you want all the attention then you can wear the neon version that literally glow! You'll need the SLink medium feet for these.

The black smudge make up is the Extraterrestrial from Wicked Peach. There are two different packs, both with 5 colours so I'm sure you'll find a colour you love in one of them. It smudges all the way across the eyes, like an eye shadow strap. Perfect for a look that's a bit different.

The Rave Dancer pose and glow sticks are a pack from Picture This. You get the waves of colour too that are an optional attachment so you can add a feel of movement to you picture.

Muka are a new store to me but I was impressed with the Qween bodysuit at The Liaison Collaborative.

It comes with a hud that lets you show and hide different parts of the suit and change it's colour. You can either wear a full body suit, or just the pieces that fit with the outfit you want to create. I'm a big fan of things with lots of options so this had me all 'oooooooo'.

The jewellery is from Cae and is the Printable Collection. I really liked the concept behind this set as it's as if it were made with a 3D printer. That's pretty awesome and now I want some RL 3D printed jewellery... to ebay!

SYS have released a full outfit for both men and women. You can buy the parts of the Biopunk outfit separately to mix and match the colours of the pants. It's complete outfit that has the shirt, pants and shoes.

Plethora lets you take part in realityception. You log onto Second Life into a pixel reality and then you get the Virtual Reality Set and log into virtual reality from your pixel reality. Confused? I am! But let's get serious for a second... this is an awesome set and it comes with poses in too. You get the visor and the wrist cuffs to fully immerse into virtual reality.

Last up is a bra from Noodles

The Festival Bra comes with a hud that lets you choose the coloured part of it. You can have one static colour or you can set it to change colour.

The Anthropology chair you can grab from NanTra. It has come great poses in it and this is one of them. It also comes with a colour change hud so you can make it suit your décor.
