Fit For A Princess

Fit For A Princess has been open for about a week now. I'm not much of a princess but I know lots of you are.

What did grab my attention is the poses. Yes, I'm a total pose whore. You'd cry if you saw my poses folder... I cry when I look in there.

It still doesn't stop me getting overexcited over new poses though. I truly am an addict.

Elephante poses released a set called Let It Go and this is my favourite pose from this set

I'm trapped in a tower in case you were wondering. In true princess style. The Princess's Tower is from Alouette and also available at Fit For A Princess

An Lar Poses also released a set of poses called The Spoiled Princess Series.

I almost look like the evil twin Princess keeping the good twin Princess hidden in the tower.

The crowns in the picture at from Elephante Poses too and are part of their gatcha. Good luck!

Mother Of Dragons

I love, love, LOVE Game Of Thrones and the new seasons starts tonight! SO EXCITED!

So it made so much sense to dress up like my favourite character Daenerys Targaryen. I have to admit that We Love Roleplay made that extra easy!

FATEplay have released this Dany Dress which is obvious inspired by my favourite Mother Of Dragons so I had to have it.

I was also equally pleased to see these boots from Just Designs because I was wracking my brain wondering what I could wear underneath this awesome dress and these fit the bill perfectly.

The Home Show - Part 3

I've got some more goodies to show you from The Home Show.

It's been open for a few days now but you've got plenty of time left to head on over there.

Organica have a lovely dining set on offer.

It's pretty and rustic. The place settings and vases are also available if you want those. It would work well indoors or outdoors so it's a versatile piece.

Another set that works well indoors or outdoors is the gorgeous set from Meshed Up

This set is bright and colourful and I think the rubix cube side table is absolutely adorable. Plus who can resist a crate of snacks! All the pieces of this set are so well made.

The Garden House is also available if you wanted to place this outside. I really like it outside, it reminds me of hiding in a treehouse to read comics and eat all the junk food.

The last two sets are both from Kalopsia.

What I like about these are the his and hers versions of dressing rooms. Weirdly I prefer the male version, but both are great.

I have a weird obsession with making my house lived in. I like that this has clothes, because it gives it a more realistic touch. They are also unlinked from the main pieces so you can move them around and put them where you want to. Maybe even add them to furniture you already have.

I think this will be my last post for The Home Show. I will probably throw the furniture in other posts and I'll let you know where it's from. I hope you enjoyed my posts, I know I had a lot of fun blogging this event.

Cutie Moon Fair

I remember having a very short lived thing for Sailor Moon back when I was younger. I've had many short lived obsessions over my time.

However what I have always loved about Sailor Moon was the costumes. I've seen some amazing Sailor Moon cosplay over the years and I always wished I was good enough and skinny enough to be able to pull them off. I'm not!

However Second Life has a habit of allowing us to live out all those cosplay fantasies we've had and the Cutie Moon Fair is the perfect place for those of you who have always wanted to be a Sailor Scout.

FATEplay have had this costume in their store for a while. It's always been a firm favourite and he's updated the range by adding kids sizes to it too!

Plus if you go to the Cutie Moon Fair and get the costume it's 25% off. You get the dress, the wand and the boots so it's a full outfit and you have all your Sailor Scout colours to choose from.

If you want something a bit less costume based but definitely Sailor Moon inspired I think the Sweet Sailor Dress from The Secret Store is more for you.

I really like this dress and I see myself wearing it often. It's just adorable. The socks and bag are from Atomic. The socks come with appliers for SLink feet and for Phat/Cute azz too. The bag is in the gatcha and I was lucky to get the bag I wanted on the first try.

Jupiter was always my favourite because she wore green and green is my favourite colour.

The Home Show - Part 2

The Home Show is in full swing and if you haven't already been then you really should go.

There's so much there that you are going to find something you love and will never want to part with. I know I found lots of things like that. But then I have a little bit of a shopping problem.... kinda.. shhhh.

Okay so let's ignore my shopping problems and move onto showing some of the yumminess that I found there.

I found something very decedent at 22769 Bauwerk.

It's all very old world feeling with luscious drapes and velvets. Soft warm, leathers and deep mahogany wood. I almost feel lost in movie set when all this is rezzed out. It's beautiful.

Moving back to something a bit more modern and outside we have the offering from MudHoney

MudHoney went crazy with everything they made for The Home Show. There really is SO much of it and there is a huge choice of patterns and colours to choose from too.

There are two separate areas, but there's no reason why you can't mix and match because they all work well together.

I really like the sectional because you can add as many pieces as you want to it to make it as big or as small as you want.

The set also comes with a gazebo and dining area for all those outdoor dinners you want to have.

There's so much detail and work in this set. I love the place settings and how wonderful it all looks together.

FaMESHed - April 2014

The first of the month always means a new round of FaMESHed so yesterday the event opened with a whole load of new amazing goodies!

I grabbed a few things that took my fancy but there is so much more available.

First up, the Roxanne Jumpsuit from Cracked Mirror made me go ooooo when a teaser pic was posted on Plurk a few days ago. The demo did not disappoint and of course I had to go for the classic black.

The ass on this is pretty amazing, but Cracked Mirror always seem to make good booty! There is also a fitted mesh version for those of you who are into fitted mesh. It's always good to have options.

I'm a big fan of Mutresse and their colour hud system. It allows you to change the colour of the items you have in sections, giving you full control over how you want the item to look. It's like having a fatpack on steroids!

I really like the Nadya Tank Top with the lace trim, which can be removed if lace isn't your thing, and the option of having a top that is made specifically to fit over the Guzla Shorts or just a normal version to wear with everything else.

Great for spring/summer and I honestly cannot wait for the weather to warm up! I NEED SUN!

Another lovely item for spring/summer is the Ory Combination Shirt & Dress from Baiastice. It comes inn array of wonderful spring colours, but I was taken with the classic black.

It's a lovely set and I foresee me wearing this one a lot. I liked the black because it went so well with the new release from Gos, the Charlotte Mary Jane Pumps with the most adorable little lace popsocks. Super cute and I think these are now my favourite pair of Gos shoes just because of those popsocks.

Last but by no means least is the Bohemian Maxi Dress and Denim Jacket from Coquet.

I fell in love with this the second I put on the demo. It's a lovely dress and the jacket fits perfectly over the top so I'm hoping it might fit over a few other things in my inventory (fingers crossed). I went with the Army colour because I can never resist green but there's other lovely summery colours available too.

The hair is from Wasabi pills and is also available at this round of FaMESHed. I like a nice casual pony tail (you can't see it from the picture) so this is a welcome addition to my inventory. Really liking Wasabi Pills recent releases.

The Home Show 2014 - Part 1

The Home Show opened today and it is a full sim of fantastic creations from all your favourite furniture and décor stores in SL!

FULL SIM!

It's crazy how much stuff is here and it is going to take me a few posts to cover it so bear with me because I will be splitting this into several parts.

Here we go with part 1!

I thought I'd start with my favourite from this years event and Bazar has taken that title with their amazing Toronto Bathroom and Living Room sets.

Seriously stunning work and it blew me away. The land impact on this stuff is amazing too. Perfect for those of you with low prim allowances on your land.

The Toronto Bathroom came with so many pieces I almost didn't know where to begin.

All the major pieces have animations in them and I love all the small pieces of décor that make a room actually look lived in. Although if it was my bathroom there'd be a wet towel on the floor and I'd have an annoyed face animation being the one having to pick it up!

Bazar's Toronto Living Room is of and equally amazing standard.

The couch has become my new favourite couch in SL. That's a title that was held for so long by another store that I didn't think I'd ever find one to top it.

I'm also a big fan of things I can add pictures too and the bookcase with photo frames is a lovely touch. The entire set is just delicious.

I discovered two new stores at The Home Show that had slipped under my radar but make some beautiful things.

Follow Us have brought a gorgeous kitchen to this years event

I love the shabby chic feel to this kitchen. All the décor is included with the actual kitchen so it won't cost you extra prims to rez it out. The fridge comes separate too for those who maybe already have one or want to choose to rez it in a separate area to the main kitchen unit.

I also discovered Johadez during my exploration of the sim.

The chairs are great. I was impressed by the quality on the items and they are a bit different from all the other things I saw at The Home Show.
