What's Your Digits?

This is the first time I've taken part in one of Strawberry Singh's memes but everyone was getting into this one, so I decided I'd take part too.

So this one is the 'What's Your Digits? Take 3' since she's done it twice before. This is my first time of joining in though.

Proportions Challenge Questions:

1. Do you try and keep your avatar’s body proportionate and similar to the “average” proportions pictured above?
I just go with what looks right to me. I quite like long legs, so I think my legs are probably longer than they should be, but it's about what I like really since I'm me!

2. What do you dislike the most about the SL avatar mesh?
The hands and feet are definitely the worst thing. Mesh body parts are helping a lot with these. I think the breast shape is a little off and while I'm not a fan of the large sized mesh breasts, it would be nice there were average sized ones that are nicely shaped would be good and worked with the appliers when small.

3. Does it bother you when you see other avatars that are not proportionate at all?
When it's massively off it bothers me a little I guess. Not that I'm going to start IMing me people and saying... 'hey you look crap, sort it out!', but I have had people IM me to tell me I looked anorexic. Having an opinion and using it to offend someone are two different things.

4. Even though this is a virtual world and people can be anything they want to be, do you feel when they are in human form, they should try to keep their proportions close to average?
Well honestly it's not my choice what people want to do. I do what makes me happy and I think other people should be doing what makes them happy, regardless of what I think about their shape. I can have my opinion on their shape, doesn't mean I need to voice it to them.

You can see my digits up on the picture there. I made myself a little bit shorter recently by decreasing my leg size from 35 to 15. I think I like it better like that, but it's possible I'll change my mind back later. Over the years I've grown shorter and curvier and I'm liking my shape much better these days than I used to.

I wear a XS or sometimes a S when it comes to mesh standard sizing. I have a rule where I'll change my boobs to fit something, but never my butt. It means I can make shapes for different shirts and know all my pants will always fit me. If it don't fit over my butt as is... no sale!
