My Attic - November 2014

My Attic has one more day left until it closes on the 30th. I wish this event ran a bit longer because by the time I've shopped, taken pictures and found time to blog it's often already closed or about to be. It's a shame because there is always a great bargain there to grab.

So let's sneak this post in quick before you miss those bargains!

Rebel Hope has a pretty dress on offer for you.

The My Attic Mesh Dress comes in several colours and is a perfect cocktail dress for the upcoming party season. Not only does it come in standard sized mesh but also includes a Physique version for all you SLink body owners.

The Shoes, which require the SLink medium feet, are the Zurich shoes from Essenz. Essenz have made some great SLink shoes recently and these are simple, but classy. They went perfectly with the dress too.

The Millionaire bag is a steal from Pure Poison at only 95L and while I'm not usually a big bag collector but this one found it's way into my inventory in about 3 seconds after seeing the ad.

The pose is in the Glam Steps from W.Winx & Flair. This is the only pose I used from this but it also makes an amazing background for the rest of my pictures too as you'll see soon.

If you wanted something a bit more formal then Dead Dollz has absolute bargain of a gown that you can't pass up.

I went for the Blue because of it's lovely colour and the texture is a gorgeous satin type fabric with a little bit of sparkle.

If you want to look like you are flashing the cash then you'll want to grab the Money Honey poses set from NanTra. It comes with the stacks of money so you can look like you've got enough to buy ALL the dresses. I hope you really do!

Last up are some pants and a shirt from Le Primitif

The Love Him Thermal and Love Him BF Jeans are a great casual outfit. The jeans come in the usual denim colours with lots of colourful shirts to match.

I threw on the Dandy Tie from SYS because it couldn't resist how great it looked with this outfit. I love the studs and chains on it and it takes a basic casual outfit and makes it bit more snazzy.

The shoes, which will need the SLink high feet, are from Fishy Strawberry. The Gold Digger heels are in several colours so you'll probably find a colour to match your outfit. They also include a hud so you can change the colour of the metal to match your accessories.

You've not got a lot of time to get your butts down to My Attic so get them moving!

Kawaii Project

The Kawaii Project closes on the 29th, which is tomorrow, so you have just enough time to run down there and grab these super kawaii little bits for your inventory.

The Liaison Collaborative - Nov 2014 - Part 1

The theme for this round of The Liaison Collaborative is Winter Harvest. Just what you need since Winter is just around the corner.

So let's hop right into the goodies!

What you need for the nippy weather is some warm clothing and a hot drink.

Le Primitif have you covered for the warm clothing with their Love Me Sweater Dress. I like how it looks like you have a sweater tied around your waist from the front. It's something I've not seen on a dress before but I'm really liking it.

The jewellery is a brand new release from Cae. It's the Pomme De Pin necklace and earrings. I like the little pine cone with the large diamond. The diamond and pearls change colour too to match it to your outfit.

If you need a hot drink to warm your insides then nip by the Ariskea stall down at TLC and grab yourself one of the Winter Warm cups of goodness. A few different patterns and colours to choose from but I really liked this heart one.

Damselfly always seem to release some nice hair for TLC and the Garnet style is no exception.

Pretty and twisty and with their usual extensive colour packs. I like the Light Reds best but go pick the one that calls to you. It comes in two sizes for those with a slightly larger bust.

The Laila Sweater from Coquet is going to keep you warm in the cold water. It comes in lovely pale wintery colours too.

The Wicked Peach not only released some very pretty Winter Harvest Eye Make but they also have the Rosy pack that gives you a delightfully rosy nose and cheeks. I pretty much spend most of Winter looking like this in RL so it's good that I can bring that to SL now too! It's great for all those outdoor winter pictures you want to take.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner for all you Americans and Christmas creeping ever so closer for the rest of us it might be time to get yourself a nice dining room set to gather everyone around for those special dinners.

22769 Bauwerk have a great dining set that has a lovely winter feel. The place settings are really pretty and I really like the pumpkin in the jar and the bundles of candles.

There is also a matching cabinet and decor set so you can complete the whole room should you want to or just use it by itself.

Alternatively Alouette has also released a great cabinet and clock set that is gorgeous and great for your winter decorated home.

The Main Attraction

Cirque De Seraphim was a surprising shop for me. When I first heard about it I honestly wasn't that interested because I wasn't really a fan of the circus as a kid. However I saw more and more incredible poses coming out from some talented designers and I wanted them... so I had to go visit.

It's open until the 28th November so you still have time so go take a trip around the two well decorated sims.

Double Take released a bunch of great poses for both single users and for couples/friends.

This pack is called High Wire and I liked the Don't Look Down pose most out of this pack. You could balance on a high wire with these too.

The second pack from Double Take is called Presenting. It's a pack of very dramatic poses that would be perfectly for the big top! This one is Three Ring Circus and you can be the Ringmaster!

Last up is a couples/friends pose called The Juggler's Wife. I loved this pose most out of all of the released from Double Take and I managed to drag Amadeo with me to be the juggler. It's just a fantastic shaped pose.

Bang released a pack of poses that will make you bend over backwards to grab them. Literally.

Stands 445-449 Pack will bend you every which way so you wouldn't be shocked that I have a surprised look on my face. Who knew I could bend that much?

Just in case you were wondering, these awesome boots are from LVLE and you find them down at The Pier Market until the 30th November. They are rigged and in sizes for men and women so get your butt down there for a pair before the event ends!

One last pose from the Walking On Air pack released from Elephante Poses.

Oneword - Autumn - Part 2

Oneword is closing in a few days so it's your last chance to run on in there and grab what you want.

I wanted to show you a few last bits to try and tempt you down there if you haven't already been.

NYU have a released the adorable little Karly Dress for Oneword.

It has a cute little tie around the waist and comes in a choice of muted colours which are perfect for Autumn. You can team with it tights or leggings and some great boots to keep you cozy.

I know I've mentioned these boots before but since they are at Oneword and I know if you get this dress that you'll be looking for some great boots I decided to pop them back in for one more mention. Plus I really like them!

The Becca boots from LVLE are great for Autumn. They fit with lots of different mesh skinny pants and jeans, which is always great, and you also have the choice of wearing them with the SLink medium feet if you want to. Again lots of nice muted colours to choose from so go grab yourself a pair or two.

Fantasy Gacha Carnival - November 2014

Both the Fantasy Gacha Carnival and We Love Role Play are open until the 30th of November. That gives you some time to get your butt down there to have some fun playing the gachas and to grab the fantasy goodies you want for your roleplay / cosplay needs.

Haste has got some great body armour at We Love Role Play

Gorgeous or what. I love the big spikes on the Spiked Harness and you can use the hud to change the colour of the spikes themselves. The leather harness stays the colour of the pack you choose to buy so please make sure you're picking the colour you want. Comes in male and female sizes so there's something for you guys too!

At the Fantasy Gacha Carnival Haste have another release.

The Nsia Harness comes in several pieces that range from commons to ultrarares. The top is a rare piece, the bottom of the harness is an ultra rare and the arm and leg ropes are commons. You can mix and match the colours or try and collect a set. It's a lovely harness set and well worth a few gatcha plays.

Alchemy always have a lovely gatcha offering and I was over the moon to land a rare outfit pack on my first play. I admit, I did a little chair dance.

You get all the pieces in the rare Air Pack of the The Magi gatcha. I hope you are as lucky as I was because this is a lovely set. It's really detailed and and fits like a dream. Unfortunately the style of the armour didn't suit anything larger than a standard size medium because large and extra large are just SO different from the extra small to medium. As someone who's watched a friend make standard sizes the frustration is real when trying to fit anything larger than a medium. The best bet is to try a demo to make sure it's going to fit you first or mod your shape to fit a standard sized medium.

The hair is from the Ploom Mystic V2 gacha. Again I lucked out with a rare and I decided to go with this lovely blond to white fade colour. The hud lets you change the colour of the headband and you also get a pack of curly hairbases to match all the colours.

The adorable little Eagle, I've called Jeff, and the Staff are from the Rack Poses Priestess gacha. You get both the props and the both with each pull which is great. I love Jeff, he's a feathery wonder.

If you like long dresses then there are a couple of great ones you can grab at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.

The Arcana Dress from May's Soul is a great buy. All the colours are fantastic and are commons so you're guaranteed to get one. The rares include a special dress colour hud and an optional set of sleeves. It's a great dress and I love that the rares are not a much needed part of the outfit.

The hair is the Ploom Mystic V1 gatcha hair. The V1 has a fringe (or as you Americans on the other side of the pond call it - bangs) but has the same style at the back. You can get one, or both.

The swords and the pose are from the Rack Poses  Paladin gacha. The poses are recommended for male avatars but of course you can use them for women too!

Luas have the Orianna Dress in their gacha and all are commons! yay!

The rare is armour that matches the dress (not shown) but go and definitely grab yourself a dress while the carnival is still open!

The Ranger hair you can snag from the Little Bones gacha.

Collabor88 - November 2014

Now is the time to nip over to the Collabor88. It's been open for 10 days and the rush crowds have died down so now is your chance to get in some lag free shopping!

The Theme this month was Modern Alchemist so I wasn't really knowing what to expect but the colour palette for it looked promising.

Teefy pandered to my love for green with their Flutter Dress.

As soon as I saw the Emerald colour my green radar went off and I made a beeline right for it. Bam, in my inventory to be adored with all the other green dresses I have. I know, I know. I have a problem but it could be worse. The dress is gorgeous in any of the colours on offer to be honest. It's got very thin straps and then an extra strap that goes from the waistband and up around the neck that almost looks like a built in necklace.

The hair is a Collabor88 release from Exile. This is the Dancing Horses style and I went with the naturals pack because it has my favourite red colour, Sunset, and then other colours I can use for cosplay and RP.

I've always been keen on Pixicat since discovering the store a little while back so it's really awesome to see them in Collabor88. The Alchemy Dress is probably their best piece of work so far.

I'm in love with this. I wore it around for days because it was too pretty to take off. That might be hard to believe for most of you who see me running around naked and bald but I promise I do wear clothes at other times too! The detailing on the bust area of this dress is super pretty and it comes in packs of two colours so really you're getting two dresses for the price of one. I went for the Shade pack but if the colour packs aren't doing it for you then they have also got the skirt and shirt out separately for you to mix and match your own colours!

Baiastice rarely fail me when it comes to their Collabor88 release so of course this one was just as awesome as past rounds.

The Misty Jacket, Marianne Vest and Lily Skirt all fit together perfectly. I love when I don't have to try and wear different sizes together to make something fit so this is wonderful. You can wear the pieces all separately and of course mix and match the vast array of colours that Baiastice always provide. I especially like the frill detail on the skirt and the pleating off the satin fabric on it.

The hair, which comes with this dramtic hat is the Supreme style from Little Bones. The reds are a bit more intense than my usual tone but I like it and the style itself it super pretty, especially the twisted nature of it. The hat can be colour changed with a hud so you don't just have to use black.

ISON have brought you a shirt and pants combo that can be mixed and matched to your content.

I like that the Bandage Back Top and the Side Lace Pants come separately because it lets me mix and match the colours. It looks like a great suit when the colours are the same. The detailing down the side of the pants is really great as well as the straps across the back of the shirt.

The boots are the Flamel Boots from The Secret Store. Very cute boots that are perfect now that winter is starting to creep in. I'm really feeling cold today. I'm probably going to end up with more of these in different colours because picking one was so hard.

The absolutely stunning Zophia Bed in the background is by Trompe Loeil.

I think it's incredible that the bed comes in a made up version and also in a very slept in messy version as shown in the picture. Sorry guys and girls but I never make my bed unless I'm changing the sheets so having a messy version in SL is awesome.

The table, scales with books and the artwork on the wall are all part of the Modern Alchemy Lab Table Set from Second Spaces. You have a choice of three colours but this grass green colour really got me. Of course it did, it's green!

Sad November

Sad November is still open until the 22nd so you have some time left to nip around the sim and grab some of the lovely things on offer.

What I liked was that if a creator had some unisex or men's items they got to put out a little sign that said so outside their store. Great for guys who love to shop and sometimes get a little bit left out by events.

The rain on the sim is an incredibly pretty feature but I found lagged me out a lot so before you head over there I'd suggest you remove all unnecessary attachments and huds, get your noob duck waddle on the go and strip down to your system undies. It'll help you get around better.

November is a cold month and an excuse for me to get out the snuggly warm clothes and hats.

Fishy Strawberry have let me get my snuggle on with this lovely, warm, wooly looking dress for the event. The Melangool Wool Longuette Dress comes in six colours, all of which look this cozy. You can also get the Coozies scarf in a range complimentary colours to go with the dress (not shown)

The Kenzy boots which I thought looked great with the dress are from Reign. I went for the black because they'll come in handy for lots of outfits and I'm always drawn in by black boots.

The hair is one of a duo pack from Spellbound. The Bramble hair comes in in two similar styles. One with the hat and one without. The hat also comes with a colour change hud. I love hair that comes in two versions, especially when they come with accessories because you don't always want to wear the accessories.

I was impressed by the jeans from Spirit Store.

The November Jeans come in all the usual denim colours, these are the Dark Blue, and in the pack you get a choice of a version with accessories and a version without. I like the extra bits on the accessories version because it makes them feel a bit more used. The shirt, also from Spirit Store, is the November Turtleneck Sweater. I took a fancy to the Blue Strip but there are lots of other colours available too.

If you wanted something a bit more sexy than cuddly clothing then run over to the Blacklace shack and pick up the Briony lingerie.

The Azure Blue is incredibly striking and comes with all the usual mesh appliers. I love, love, LOVE appliers for the SLink Physique and I don't think I'd ever want to go back to wear system layer lingerie and it just looks so crisp. However if you are a system layer girl then those are included too!

The hair shown in the other version of the Bramble hair from Spellbound, without the hat. Super pretty with or without the hat so well worth the price.

The adorable scrabble tiles in the background are from Alouette

I loved these and you can find them at the Letter Tiles Wall Decor Gatcha at the Woodland Treasure Gatcha event which is open until the 25th. You get lots of different versions or the rare is a pack of DIY tiles that lets you make your own designs. If you win the rare and contact Scarlet Chandrayaan from Alouette then you can trade in your No Copy DIY version for a Copy version to let you use each letter more than once. How awesome is that!

The Autumn Princess's Throne, also from Alouette, is from Fit For A Princess. You could easily used this inside or outside and is perfect for autumn. This one is going to end up in my garden!

The Chapter Four - November 2014

So I wrote an entire blog post about The Chapter Four, did all my credits and SURLS so you could hop around quickly to find the bits you wanted and then as I hit save Blogger decided to have a bit of a fit and crashed.

I lost everything. Thanks Blogger! I really wanted to write this post twice.

So moving on from Blogger having a tantrum at me to the real reason why you're here. To peek at some things for The Chapter Four.

Gizza has brought you a fantastic bargain with their 99L Nordic Outfit.

I went for the Olive/Teal combo because how could I not? However there are other colours for you to get your mits on. The outfit comes as a set but the skirt and shirt are actually separate pieces. This means that if you buy more than one colour set, and why wouldn't you at 99L, then you can mix and match the pieces to make combos that are unique for you!

The hair is a brand new unisex release from Mina. Bas comes in male and female sizes already pre-sized so no need to fiddle to make it fit your head (unless you usually have to do some tweaking). It includes hairbases in premade colours to match the hair but also has a tintable version for those who maybe tint the hair or wanted to perfect their own colour.

Fishy Strawberry have a great two for one deal at The Chapter Four

The Off Shoulder Sweater comes in packs of two colours. Make sure you buy the colour packs of the shirts you want and not the text on the front because the text can be changed or removed completely with an included hud. I definitely have more issues than Vogue. Most of them are with Blogger today!

I made a little corner to sit in and of course take some pics with some new and old furniture and décor. I like to show you some of the things I have hiding in there along with the new things I've grabbed.

FaMESHed - November 2014

FaMESHed is open for their November round and there's some lovely pieces for you to get your hands on.

I'm lovely all the nice, warm looking, snuggly clothing that has snuck into this round and Erratic will kick things off with their Mischa Wrap Coat.

You can wear this coat with or without the sleeves and they are also colour change. It's hand if you want to wear your own system clothing underneath the jacket. The belt also changes colour and I like how wide it is over just have a little tie around the waist.

Baiastice released some adorable fringed boots for this round and they went so well with the jacket that this had to be an outfit. I went for the Rochee Ankle Boots in Grey and they come in rigged sized or unrigged which is great for altering the position on them to fit snuggled with your pants.

Fishy Strawberry have some great new releases too.

The Goodbye Lenin Sweater comes in six colours and the Post Industrial Skirt comes in four classic denim colours. They fit together perfectly at the waist for a lovely tucked in look. Even if you wear different sizes (as long as you're not teaming an XXS with a L) then you should have no problems. I was drawn in by the deep, rich bottle green of the Sweater and the pattern of the knit. It makes me wish I had a sweater like this in RL because I'm freezing right now!

I know my male friends are big fans of Etham so I was pleased to see this jacket, sweater and shirt combo come in sizes for both men and women.

The Autumn Blazer comes in more colours than you can count but make sure you buy the colour of the blazer part that you want. The sweater and shirt underneath are colour change with the supplied hud. I went for the black so I could get full colour freedom with the hud for the sweater and shirt. I went for stripy pink because it went so perfectly with the Kerin Flats from Reign.

How cute are these shoes? You get the shoe colour of your choice and then a hud that lets you have either silver or gold toe caps and lots of colours for the adorable little socks with them. You'll need the SLink flat feet for these cuties but so worth it.

I wanted to mention the jewellery I'm wearing because it's from a store that is new to me called Mynx. In the last two pics you can see some pieces from them that include the Bohemian Wood Bangles, Cube Ring in the second picture and the Tree Stone Set in my third picture. Chantel was nice enough to send me some of her pieces to check out and I'm so glad she did because they are lovely. Thanks Chantel! Go check out her store.

The absolutely stunning dining room set is from Cheeky Pea for FaMESHed

I was blown away by the Virginia Dining Set. It's one of the nicest I've ever come across in Second Life and will be making it's way into a permanent spot in my house. You have a choice of lots of different chair colours so you can mix and match if you want.
